I believe the Sabre is based off of a 1970 Olds Cutlass. The definition of Sabre means a type of knife, and so does Cutlass. Also it looks more like a Cutlass than a Chevelle.

Funny because the picture at 5:43 IS a Cutlass. Honestly, I think the front looks more Chevelle and the rear more Cutlass. But they're both GM A-bodies so neither one is should look that much different.

Little mistake at 1:18 ! The Ferarrri Testarossa was shown first time at 1984 and produced from 1984 to 1996. 1978 the Ferrari 308 (1975-1985) was popular (Magnum PI).

We know GTA cars are not only based in just one car, and as I said, I always saw a DeLorean there, but it's an interesting point bro.

Sorry for replying late, but it resembles the Alpine GTA, DMC DeLorean, and the Audi Quattro at the same time. And, I also kinda agreed with you, never expected it to be the Alpine GTA, which I didn't know existed until I visited the article about it on the GTA Wiki.

very good informative video, now I'm replaying vice city and some things I don't remember so much but I'm sure you can unlock the race cars by going to the stadium and doing all the ones they give you... but well when I get there I'll confirm it.

I love your videos, I'll wait for VCS and LCS and for course spinoffs of GTA IV Your are the best doing this, I hope your videos help the idea to get back more 3d era Cars to GTA online

Man I completely forgot about the Renault GTA

Like many things in VC, car selection is also in no small part call out to Miami Vice. Little trivia: Ferrari 365 Daytona in series were actually Corvettes with custom bodywork, which led to Ferrari threating to sue the show (Ferrari LOVES to sue people) if they don't destroy replicas. In flash of genius Ferrari offered 2 brand new 512 Testarossa as replacements, which appeared in series starting with Season 3, turning 512 from just another Ferrari into cult classic it is today. Studio also built a replica for filming stunts, this one was using De Tomaso Pantera as base.

1:58 Deluxe is very similar to Delorean, since ookstar themselves in GTA 5 online created a deluxe that flies and if it flies, then it's definitely a Delorean, even though it's not volatile in life, but the fact that it flies is from the movie back to the future part 2

I have to say that the Voodoo is actually a 1960 Chevrolet Bel Air. The front and rear lights and teh side trim resembles it better and it only has 2 rear lights on both sides, making it a Bel Air. The GTA IV-V Voodoo is a 1960 Impala though, with the 3 rear lights on both sides.

I only now noticed that Hotring A sounds like Cuban Hermes, unlike the others

5:35 looks more like a 70 cutlass with a chevelle front end

Its a cutlass all the way around, you can see the front bumper curves up in the center but the hood is missing the tooth to split the grill making the front look like a 70 skylark. Even the name is a give away, a cutlass is a type of battle blade, and so is a saber.

I think the 3rd Hotring Racer is more a 1981 Buick Regal Stock Car than a Oldsmobile

The Deluxo looks more like a modded CRX with some delorean hints Sabre is an 60s-Early 70s Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, while the Sabre Turbo it's an Oldsmobile 442, the sporty version. Sentinel it's BMW 5 series (E34) and Sentinel XS it's a BMW M5 (E34) Stallion looks like a 60s Firebird while Phoenix it's a late 70s early 80s Firebird Trans Am/Formula Manana it's a 2 door Reliant/Aries or a 2 door Dodge Shadow.
