Imo Stinger is a very fictionalized version of 96' Porsche Boxster with the roof and lights being very close to Toyota MR2. But that's just only my guess.......

I always thought it was a Pontiac Solstice, and I don’t even live in the USA. MR2 has short engine hood in that comparison. Solstice also has matching door handles.

The Mafia sentinel was my favorite car from gta3 although I haven't played it in almost 20 years. I'm looking forward to playing it again when the trilogy comes out. I hope we can customize the cars like we can in GTA v.

Man you’re missing out, even though the graphics will look like ass after you’ve played GTA 5 for so long it’s still a huge nostalgia trip. The atmosphere of it is unmatched compared to any other GTA. Out of all the series this one is definitely the most creepy and ominous.

I always wondered what the infernus was in gta III. I thought the M12 was way too niche of a car to be even known by rockstar back in the day. Vector was pretty unknown at the time and was mainly known for the W8 if you had heard of the company. I'm glad they switched it to lamborghini.

There's a mod called "Real GTA3" which does exactly that for... 80%? of the vehicles and replaces the remaining with some artistic license.

The names are definitely a big hint.... compare the models of the entire GTA series and you'll get a even better perspective... but I'm sure you also did this

Bobcat was a Ford Ranger w/ a stepside bed. I see the MR2 in the Stinger but always saw it as a Porsche due to the speed, sound and size.

Do you remember the time when Rockstar only take some little reference from real cars in their own designs and not take them 1:1 to their games?

For some reason, I feel like the Kuruma is based on a 2000 Dodge Intrepid. But the Chrysler is similar too.

The Stinger reminds me more of a Panoz Esperante since it's front engined.

You are all correct, the cars in gta have no particular model as a reference. It's more a blend of different cars. The kuruma for example is a blend of the 2000s dodge and chrysler sedans.

I would say that kuruma is 1991-1995 Mitsubishi lancer (Mirage in US market) because in GTA V kuruma is Lancer Evo X and Mafia Sentinel is E34 M5 (bunch of Russian Mafia uses M5)

Bobcat in my personal opinion looks more like a late 90's Ford truck (probably ranger) mainly due to the lights and bed layout being a 1:1 to a Ford Truck

FunFact: Despite being based on an American motorcar (made by Chrysler) the first car you ever ride in any 3D game, Kuruma, can be translated to Car from japanase :)

I'd say you're pretty spot on. The only ones I'd say are incorrect would be the Kuruma (even though it's basically the same vehicle) is actually a Dodge Intrepid because it's got the bigger taillights compared to the Sebring. Also I figured the Yardie Lobo with the cheetah print seats is more of a 70's Impala because it's got the unmistakable 3 bulb taillights. Good video though I always wondered what some of these were based off of.

well...I can't claim they're all true as who knows what Rockstar had in mind when thry designed these cars also it's decades old technology, Its hard to judge some of these 3D era cars.

pretty certain that the cartel cruiser is just a blue hummer with the pickup truck variant. pretty obvious tbh

It's called definative edition....just google it and you'll find all instructions, etc in their website....there's also one more project which is called reverse engineered but that one was taken down by take 2...and I don't know how much longer it'll take them to take this down too...so better download it asap.
