From my POV: One thing that I don't like in definitive edition is removing fog and clouds. Bcoz of this , the map looks so small And I think it's low level

It's not even about the atmosphere. The fog was an adequate way of reducing the draw distance in a stylish, realistic way

I grew up with the original also had it on PS two and then got it when it released on the OG Xbox and I’m here to say that it was better in every way- Especially for how it played!!! The new one is so frustratingly aggravating to play I wanna blow my brains out every time I’ve spent more than 30 minutes trying to deal with the mechanics of the game🤬🤬🤬🤬🥵

Because gsg removed draw distance.. game has to render entire san andreas map at a time which is very much taxing cpu, gpu and ram.. it should have smart draw distance system like gta v have. That's why gta v feels extremely optimized.

You must give me a FF7R-Level Remake, that i accpect these dumb requirements Game struggles harder on PC than Cyberpunk.

I like original better. Not gonna lie the definitive edition is not that ok, the definitive edition lacks of clouds and fogs.

Map is looking small now. They have to add some clouds and fog on high points to look better.

The best way to force Rockstar to re-improve the game and fix their mistakes is to boycott them, and that will be a pinch for them.

apparel/wardrobe is the nice thing done in definitive edition... its the pain for us in gta sa original that we just have to try every cloth to check it is good or not...

Why they removed calligraphy text ?😔 And in the name of draw distance they removed fog ? This was the only scary thing in this game the forest in night was a greatest scary moment for me

the biggest downside for me is that it uses a mobile port..they should've used the original gta sa, but of course gsg used what they already had🙄 besides the missing fog, character models and of course the bugs..i actually prefer DE, and yes of course i played the original.. such a shame this game was made by the wrong company..hopefully rockstar won't just leave those games just because of the haters

draw distance is not only an epochal limitation, it is also an immersive feature. Arriving in a corner or at Monte Chiliad and seeing everything is bizarre.

Can't beleive that people are hating on these updates! - They look great. People are never happy. - If they left it people would bitch and moan that they did nothing to it.

I'll be honest ,,, this definitive edition does not convince me very much ,,, they made the best asphalt, trees and reflections on the cars. but all this I could do by increasing the definition from the PC ,,, it was not exactly like in the definitive edition ,, but at the time it was fine 👍👍👍

The Graphics are good in The Definitive Edition. That's it, everything else is worse compared to the original

I like original a lot more because I have many fond memories of my childhood.

I've just finished playing this game. The original version, V1 on the PS2, with the Hot Coffee Mod, and Fuel Glitch on the Damn Supply Lines mission. I'd love to try this remaster out, it looks cool. Yeah, it sucks they removed the older version from sale, and sucks even more they completely pulled these games from Steam. But if you are feeling sore about it, and want to play the original, then the PS2 version is what you need. They didn't take that away!

Fun fact :- Food menu, apparel and barber Shop is same as the 10th anniversary edition.

To be honest, I would have appreciated the Definitive Edition more if they used the Rage engine from GTA IV and GTA V. That would have been a huge improvement. I would have definitely bought it. With that being said, I think there was a lot of effort put into the graphics and even though it's not perfect, it looks REALLY good. Back in 2004 I wondered why GTASA had such shitty graphics compared to Need for Speed or Max Payne. Obviously they finally fixed that problem...17 years later.

The render distance in trilogy it's like sandbox game

What? There is no character with a blocky body in Gta San Andreas. If you are looking for blocky and pixelated characters, you should look into Gta 3. All of them, including the main character Claude, have a blocky pixelated body and square hands. :)

I don’t like how perfect the definitive characters’ skins are. They should have blemishes, which they kinda look like they have in the OG, especially Ryder. Of course it’s too low def to discern but OG Ryder kinda looks like he has acne scarring. Would’ve been a cool detail to see in the DE.

0:27 if the DE ver. is better at its 3D modelling, but the original PC is better at its artistic style choice. The original looks like real person and life, meanwhile the DE ver. looks lifeless 💀 :((

Classic GTA San Andreas is much better than the updated "AIR QUOTES" version. Graphics look like from an off-brand GTA on Android.

Definitive Edition has it pros, however I prefer the original lock on system as opposed to this new highlighted one. The original will always be better, and yes of course the edited stuff out of it for the new generation, however it will give new generation a chance to enjoy our treasures.

The game is exactly like the og game because. Its just a mod for og game. They didn't even take any hardwork in improving physics. They just modded it and selling for 60 dollars. I start playing gta 3 with expectation. But after i see the same old game with some graphical mod. I just pissed off. In old gta 3 if you hit an npc by a car. Your car will bounce. Same like in gta 3 defenitive edition. I am so disappointed. Please guys don't buy it. Save your 60 dollars. Or if you want to play it. Download a cracked version

the only good thing in de for me is how u can see the line where u need to go on radar and how u can see pictures next to the stuffs u buying cuz before if u want to see how some hairstyles or clothes looks like u would need to press on it and wait for the animation when in de u can see it right away on picture okay i like the enviroment too and reflections and explosions and de have better textures but thats not what remaster making good when they screwed character models the most important thing for me at least and they have so many bugs yeah originals have a lot of bugs too but not as many as de like on some parts roads arent properly placed in sa u can see throught the map in gta3 there is floating textures and npcs floating controls are screwed for helicopters and planes and even jetpack characters animations are screwed like claude dont give middle fingers anymore to drivers the most songs and sounds are deleted and yeah i know these are just little details that i said but they important to me cuz u can get better remaster with mods which are free for og games btw the best helicopter controls i ever seen in video game is in saints row 3 and 4 cuz u have one button for going up one for going down and one for forward and one for backwards and every button is separated no matter if u driving a car or plane or helicopter its not like gta that u need to balance the helicopter to certain angle to make helicopter go forward or that u have one button for multiple actions like in de one button is for everything if u want to go forward with car or on foot or fly its w and u cant map it to other functions cuz u will screw driving or on foot controls it wont be w anymore it will be whatever other button u map its so dumb i was struggling with og flying controls in sa when i was playing with keyboard and mouse i was needed to switch to controller cuz i played gta sa on ps2 a lot much more then i did on pc cuz i didnt even have pc at some point only ps2 so i didnt have any choice lol :D
