Dog this literally is GTA 5💀 just on a Liberty City map. Do you not see the cars or hear the damn sirens? Even the physics, NPC conversation, shooting mechanics, it’s literally GTA 5. Not rocket science lol.

If only I could install this directly, instead of having to mess around with hundreds of mods, break the game 10 times and give up.

It's crazy that going from GTA IV to GTA V feels like a backstep in game engine, I still love the realistic feel of IV. It still works today

Thats because unreal 5 is just unreal4 with a better lighting engine. Any old game can look modern with better lighting. The lighting more than anything makes things look "real"

Send this to Rockstar because i would pay 60-70 for this easily.

Although this isn't running on unreal engine 5 it still looks awesome, I'm actually porting the map for gta 4 into unreal 5 at the moment, got a bit of it done so far. also looking into porting nico and his animation sets over to ue 5 as well might take a while yet lmao 🤣🤣

Undoubtedly, GTA 4 is superior, but its storyline is notably darker, lacking the joy in Niko's life. This aspect alone might incline some to choose GTA V over IV.

GTA 4 was a more adult game, with mature characters and serious themes, it came out in 2008 when GTA was still inaccessible to kids.

@@BlackHoleSoul13 it definitely felt like a departure from the normal GTA "humor" when it came out in 2008. I actually felt that it was a little too serious and dark at the time. The combat felt "too" realistic and violent. I actually liked GTA V returning to a more cartoony vibe, but in hindsight, both are excellent. I booted up 4 for the first time since maybe 2009 recently and was surprised by how well the world, game, and dark humor held up.

@@SloopJohnB91 I really enjoy the darker experience of GTA 4, and all the reasons you disliked it were the reasons i loved it. I felt that realism and immersion coupled with criminal absurdity is what makes GTA distinct. If I wanted a more lighthearted, cartoonish game I would go with something like Saints Row, which does it better with a more open sandbox. Also many find the physics and gunplay for GTA 4 to be enthralling compared to 5.

There's something in GTA 4 and 5 world that i can't have in Cyberpunk 2077. EVen after so many updates free roaming really turns me off in cp2077. SLeeping Dogs and GTAs will be forever fav city roaming games.

@@therookie5714 because they made the cars do what they would do in real life in those situations. You're not going to be able to keep it floored around the corner and expect the car to turn it's going to push and break loose or in real life the brakes are not gonna stop when you're driving fast and want to slow for a turn in a split second. I like it better then 5 it is a challenge and you have to know the limits of the car you are in on braking and turning. Once you get used to it then it's better then GTA 5 but only thing it's all city so you can't just floor it and have to actually drive the vehicle.

@@therookie5714 it did lack that. The middle island was always my favorite in the game. GTA 4 is actually my fav GTA game to be honest.

Okay, i know somwhere in here people is debating driving mechanics between 4 and 5 , and i would suggest they should apply both mechanics to different cars depending on a realistic outcome. Thats a win win.

I would like to see GTA IV with this kind of graphics, upgraded original game physics and with added features from GTA San Andreas.

I loved how the graphics made GTA 4 as bright as GTA 5. One of my only gripes with GTA 4, and I know they were doing this for storytelling and to build on the gritty atmosphere, but to me it always was so depressing. Seeing Liberty City in GTA 5 light makes the city so much more vibrant and lifelike

There's actually sunny lighting in GTA IV, but in NYC it always rains, and liberty city is based on NYC so....

There is some, but it is almost always grainy looking and very drab. I get the graphical limitations of the time, but I think as an aesthetic choice, it seemed improper because NYC does have days where it is beautiful. Even in the winter, it can be very bright. My only gripe with the game is how dark they made NYC, which doesn't do the city justice for it's beauty

Traffic lights are too clean. Besides that pretty amazing.

I agree. The autumn vibe of Liberty City is missing here, and complements the story so well in tone. The watercolor palette in IV contributed to that Fall feel.
