This was the game that introduced me to the series lol When I was in elementary school, I remembered that at the time I had a blue gameboy with a Hot Wheels game I really did not like. At the time, I thought it was unheard off for a game to allow you get out of your car and do what ever, which hot wheels did not let you do. At my school, one of my first friends had a red and black DS Lite with GTA CTWs in it. The game caught my attention when he showed me the ambulance scene (still remember the cutting out the heart noises) and saw that you could do WHATEVER in the game. Crashing cars, cops, running over pedestrians, a game that simulated our own world. Couple of years later got a PSP for Valentine's Day from my dad with Ben 10 and eventually bought myself GTA LCS. My very first own copy and then eventually managed to play CTWs and fully complete it on (first was in an iPhone and now on a DS). I still to this very day appreciate my friend showing me the series when we were kids and to this day I'm still a massive fan :) (24 now, I was 9 when GTA CTW came out)

Thats such a nice story to hear, seems like you really have a lot of good memories with the game. The feeling of anything being possible is really amazing, especially when youre a kid. The only GTA game where you can refill a molotov, make drug deals and play a literal minigame to steal a car.

Lol I remember being the only kid in school defending this game and begging my friends to play it but they said no just because it had a top view camera. They all chose to play LCS and VCS which isn't bad but I always thought that CTW was MUCH better than these 2. I still remember how surprised I was when I found out that the 2 main islands were taken straight out of GTA IV. The minigames themselves made the game so realistic and fun to me, not to mention how much fun police chases were because you don't need to just respray your car but you actually have to disable the vehicles coming after you.. I will admit tho the driving is a bit difficult but apart from that, it's a must play imo. (btw DJ Khalil solos)
