Rdr2 is more detailed and has a slightly better story but GTA 5 is more fun and has better missions and better online mode. I love both equally and preferring either depends on the type of gaming experience you prefer. Slow paced emotional story or a fater paced very fun fun single player experience

Both are great, both are created by the same company and iam sure they tried their best to perfect each game, GTA6 will be better than RDR2 and RDR3 will for sure be better than GTA6 and so on.

There are lots of weapons in gta5

I played both games to be fair I hated gta5 I don't like the vibe of it I don't like the whole gta series , but in rdr2 the vibe is the best also in rdr2 like you kinda get a connection with the characters, overall rdr2 is better
