Wow, that's how I remembered Portland when I played GTA for the first time almost 20 years ago.

I never imagine that gta 3 or vice city would come to have those advanced Shaders mods with DirectX 11, it's just great! I hope one day i can try them! Thanks for showing it!

There are already texture mods for Claude and the city but the real issue would be to update the models and change their data

this is the most amazing thing i've see today and i want to play it now. GTA 3 is an immortal piece of art.

The DirectX 11 is very optimised. That's why I prefer DX11 over DX12. Though DXR of DX12 has better raytracing, it kills the framerates by alot. That's why I love renderhook.

I've always said to people remaster is the way to go not a full-on remake GTA III with ray tracing looks exactly the way I'd imagined it would once I first saw that Quake II RTX demo and it's glorious I know this is a mod but I wish R* would do a full-on remaster of the 3D trilogy but with a boatload of quality of life improvements like HDR, RTX, DLSS and various improvements from the mobile games but actually working properly on the PC versions of each GTA game.

I'm trying to make this thing work since months, but I always get "Error code:126". I tried everything. The steam version, version 1.1, 1.0.... Nothing was good. I tried all types of ASI loaders, than I gave up. So my question is OP: What is your GTA 3 version and what type of plugins do you use with the game (like ASI loader and CLEO loader, etc.)

Not sure about overdrive mode, even current cyberpunk doesn't offer this level of complex shadow with RT on

I Have installed this mod that adding shadows to GTA 3, correctly! But the only problem is that the game NOT STARTING! I have a clean version by Steam, i downloaded the gta3_rh zip file, selected all files and pasted to directory game on steam! Launched with EXE, nothing happens. The problem is this: When i put the file: "gta3_render_hook.asi" in game folder, the gta3.exe file, not working without errors, when i remove asi file, game starting

Вы можете попробовать установить RH. Автор говорил что 1060 должна поддерживаться. Правда не уверен что это будет играбельно. Возможно, когда-нибудь он сделает non-rt версию для тройки и вайс сити. Пока у него в планах оптимизация RTX версий

Hello. Yes, this is a ray-traced renderehook. You can download preliminary builds in the "Actions" tab on the github. You must first log in to the site.

@@AchiragChiragg I don't have the 960 anymore, but when I tried gta vice city it didn't work (dunno why, probably because it's not an rtx card). When I wanted tried quake 2 rtx (on a 980) it also didn't work, saying I don't have rtx hardware. At this point, I really just gave up, maybe one day I could get a rtx card.

Not sure about that. The developer says that video cards are supported starting from 1060. But you can check it yourself.

github.com/petrgeorgievsky/gtaRenderHook можно собрать самому, а можно скачать пребилд во вкладке Actions. Установить Ultimate ASI Loader и распаковать все файлы в папку с игрой. Лучше ставить на чистую игру и уже после успешного запуска пытаться добавлять другие моды.

@@anton.kovalenko ​ @Anton Kovalenko вот именно записать видеогайд, как собрать это все попунктно, что-то я покидал там файлики ничего не работает, ставил на стимовскую версию, там установка все-таки более замудренная, насчет Ultimate ASI Loader там вообще один файлик формата dll, ну кинул я его и что дальше, сборка насколько я понял там делается с помощью VCPkg, по устнаовке там темный лес, копаться очень долго, подробный гайд бы помог, если трудно то не надо, я просто попросил, нет, так нет. Пока времени нет копаться со всем этим. Спасибо в любом случае за помощь.

@@user-kx2nm1wj4g в код постоянно вносятся изменения от разработчика и на текущий момент это не столько мод, сколько технодемка. Вам не обязательно компилировать все самостоятельно, если хотите посмотреть как у вас будет работать рендерхук. Достаточно залогиниться на гитхаб и скачать последнюю сборку во вкладке Actions, для этого даже VS устанавливать не надо. Со стимовской версией должен работать. Если не получится - найдите в сети экзешник гта3 версии 1.0. И да, Ultimate ASI Loader это и есть один файл, который загружает asi скрипты, в том числе и рендерхук.

@@anton.kovalenko ага, заработало, спасибо, но проблем куча, вначале запуска вылезает Error 126 связанная с ASI Loader, потом в меню нет букв одни пустые строки, нужно наугад выбирать и на миссии Luigi's Girls почему то зависает, в остальном работает и шумов при езде много, возможно нужно отключить Trains, но надо гадать куда тыкать. Но RTX -освещение работает.

@@anton.kovalenko вообщем купил Vice City, поставил RTX на него, здесь он лучше раскрывается на мой взгляд, палитра намного сочнее, более волшебней выглядит, правда пришлось сделать даунгрейд до 1.0 (нужно просто заменить gta-vc.exe на версию 1.0), в остальном процесс установки такой же, работает даже лучше, в меню буквы есть, но загрузки на миссии зависали и приходилось до 5-10 минут ждать, чтобы прогрузило, проблема решается включением Frame limiter в опциях игры (видимо старый баг), когда загрузится можно отключить, также можно поставить чит Lifeispassingmeby для отмотки времени, с шумами немного можно избавиться скачав более ранние сборки, но у меня в них местами фризило. Осталось только на GTA San Andreas накатить, но там даунгрейд вроде сложнее делается.
