Well aware, just didn't expect it to continue let alone be upgraded compared to previous versions. I'm a self-admitted Gran Turismo addict and have been since the demo to the original GT on the PS One.

We just need the 787b, minolta, 962, 956,...

The 787B is slow, it only won because it was reliable and everyone else broke down. Reliability isn't really a factor in GT, so it'd be useless. The 962 should be in though.

I like the way it sounded in GT4 and PSP, using the Toyota GT-ONE's sound. I know it's not the real sound but b4 I heard the real sound, the GT-ONE's old engine sound fits it.

I tried the r92cp, loved the brutal acceleration and sound. Had to adjust the gearbox for top end speed on stock power.

I think if they're going to have a group c class, they should have a full grid of group c or classic prototypes from around the time of the 80s, the early 90s or maybe even the late 70s. Now I've done a lot of research over the last 12 or so, and found 16 cars including one group B car that matched the group c cars for pace back in the late 80s, that would look great in the game or indeed on Forza 7. The list includes 16 cars, some we already know and love, some that have been successful and others not so successful. I think the AMR1 wasnt good enough in a straight, i do wish games like forza and GT could get the LC1/LC2

This is true. I know it wasn't necessary the fastest but I still think it deserves a chance. After all it's another manufacture which in my personal opinion would be good for the game. But yeah they should definitely have the Lancia LC2 in there. If not maybe in the next game or even Forza with a full grid of Group C cars.

I don't know why I bought 3 Sauber Mercedes C9 in Gran Turismo 5.

My favorite car of the game.... i ran this car so much on nurburgring ... had some fast lap with car...end up putting down 519.498

They should bring back the Goodwood festival of speed.

They need a sound update so it sounds more realistic, they don't do that V8 monster justice

I actually think the Gr.1 placement was a good idea. Makes the class more diverse

Actually with just a bit of TCS (like 1 or 2) they are very manageable cars to drive. I discovered these as well as the Circuit de la Sarthe yesterday and I absolutely love them. I love how they perform, how they sound and they are really fun to drive. They have a personnality which is awsome. And the track is just great.

::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: Indeed but some cars, for a beginner like me, even with 1 TCS can be harder to drive while these were actually ok. Also I just watched your video about the GT-R NISMO and was amused to see that it actually was the fastest car on the Gr. 1 race around Le Mans yesterday.

Great points about the overall car physics. Way more realistic coefficient of drag on the car bodies, makes them have a closer to reality top speed. I just did my first 3 laps on LeMans in the GT40, (N300), I was starting to get the hang of it by lap 3, did a 4:11,(pretty sloppy).. lol.. by the way, I used your tune, with a little tweaking, top speed= 182 mph

you could go 400+ on gt5 for sure i did it in the cien racing redbulls on route x

WM P88 did 253 MPH in qualifying (and died because closed air ducts) the C9 did a close 248 MPH

Spot on👌 there were so many times i miscalculated my branking with this car

Did anyone besides me also realized that the front brake calipers on the C9 are positioned wrong? they should be like the ones on the rear wheels

Sucks I can't get that livery...only the silver one now

As for the group c cars having less downforce it really depends on the car as the Nissan P-35 made almost 11,000 pounds of downforce at 200 mph I am pretty sure no car has come even close and it wasn’t that high drag either

XJR-9 2nd gear is pretty weird i could say.

i don't know why but i prefer the AEG livery than the famous ''silver arrow" one

The only thing I dislike about the Sauber is that it doesn't have the unique Nascar like sound that it has irl. Here it's just a generic V8 sound, but well you can't have everything

They should add the Aston Martin AMR1 in Gran Turismo Sport.

Group Cs are the muscle cars of prototypes.

Nice video. Just hoping to find some good liveries for it.

Lovin' the new cars, just wish they'd get up to about 255-260mph :(

Work on that and lower downforce, yeah it won't grip as much, but they don't really need all the downforce, well the 92CP at least

Its a great car really, I am getting all the Group C cars that come out, they usually are all fun and I think in the new update there is a hint of the next Nissan group C car that might come into the game. However, I hope the Aston AMR1, the Lamborghini QVX, and the Porsche 956 do come to the game. Porsche deserves to finally have a group C car in Gran Turismo, and the other Manufactures deserve a Gr.1

Probably a stupid question, but why is your Sauber black? how did you get it like that?

I would actually recommend the Tomahawk Gr.1 , it has very good breaking and handling and it is also easy on the power.

Yes I think got one though roulette and I can say it’s really fun especially in Nurburgring and spa

The older ones, yes. It'll struggle against the latest hybrids and diesels if tuning is allowed. They have significant top speed advantages

Well with the AI and stock vs stock, the Group Cs (exept the Porsche) take the lead, followed by Gr.1 VGTs and followed at last by the LMPs

No the c9 has a really high top speed
