Thanks for the offer to look into the FB group, but when a company has customer service this bad I tend to avoid all future business. To their credit I have received messages through you tube that they are looking into my case. I just find it very odd that the response came from a social media avenue versus three customer service department. Therefore I am very skeptical that this will get resolved. At this point all I want is a return Authorization to return the 5 Cell-Links 3 of which are unopened for a refund its been since September 5th when they issued a case # and I have not heard from the Customer Service Department today 18th September....Terrible Customer service from Spypoint.

Hi, We have good cell coverage at my house but it was a newer cell tower they put up and the cell links will not work off this tower. There are other people in our area that are having the same problem. I took the cell link to work with me about an hour away and it works fine and picks up a signal no problem. Any idea why the cell link will not work with this paticular cell tower? and is there anyway to fix this

Hey hey Crawford crew. Great question. That will depend on where you are and what carrier put up the tower. The cell link you bought should be for the best reception by the providers spypoint uses. So att or Verizon in the states..I think it's bell in Canada.

I bought 5 with 5 sd cards from Spypoint website and the first one worked for 2 weeks then stopped working. I tried a second cell link and it didn't work out of the box. I have spent hours on the chat line with Spypoint and they couldn't get either unit working. When I asked for a supervisor they got rude and when I asked for a return label for a refund they blamed the new batteries and the fully charged 12 volt that the problem was my power source. Great idea but my experience the product has a very weak transmitter or it just doesn't work. Spypoints customer service is terrible.

I tend to agree with you about the weak transmitter. I have known many folks who had to upgrade to better antenna. Check out the FB group Spypoint Trail camera power users. Lots of great tips and there are a few of us on there helping folks out.

Why should the customer have to go through the hassle of doing a firmware update? I bought this cell link and never did get it to connect, despite all the troubleshooting i've done. Junk.

After performing firmware update is the sd card requiring to be formatted again before taking pics?

No you should be ok if it was formatted prior to the update. However don't forget to format the the cable card.

Will there be a cable in the future for cameras that take micro SD cards?

That sir is a really good question. I can only assume yes. But that would depend on market demand. How many cameras are running micro SD vs standard SD cards. I don't know if there are any other programming requirements either. But if the market demand is there, I'm sure it could be in the future.

I purchased two Micro Link camers and two CELL-LINK devices. One of the camers and both of the CELL-LINKS no longer work after only two years. I've watched several videos on trouble shooting and have read everything on the website. Customer service is awful. Me and several of my fellow hunters have purchased SPYPOINT camera devices over the last three years. We have all experienced the same issues. We will not be purchasing anymore Spypoint products. So, please don't waste your money on this product.

Hey Mike ,I'm sorry your having issues with your gear. Couple of possible support options. 1. Spypoint actually has a Facebook support team. You can direct DM. 2. There are also a couple of Facebook groups called Spypoint power users. Lots of help available from that great community. This channel is not owned or monitored by Spypoint at all.
