Really pleased I came across your video, I'm currently waiting for my GSX-S 1000 F to be delivered and I was worrying about the throttle surge so had thought about a Power Commander and the air box mod was something I hadn't heard about. Really practical mods that don't spoil the look of the bike, it's a peach.

Was looking at an FZ10 and really wanting a Tuono V4 RR. Randomly stumbled on this bike in my search. Its not my first pick, but it looks like a hell of a bang per buck machine and probably decently reliable to boot. Going to look at one this week. Thanks for the vid.

I just got a newish 2016 bad 2k miles on it was kept up on racks in climate controlled garage! Had one little scrape on the edge of paint other then that it’s perfect looks better then most new ones at my local dealer! 😂 he had already put on a ton of stuff, sliders, programmer, exhaust, adjustable shorty levers, engine covers all around it, has a lot of little things to I’m still noticing like nipple guards on the shocks and breaks! GSXR on them! So far we love it best bike we owned to date! And we have had a bunch ZX750RR, ZX900RR it was slightly faster but only on big end, R6, R1, CBR 1000 Suzuki GSX1300 busa! And a bunch of dirt bikes atv’s and side by sides! Still got a 800 Polaris and a 500 we just pulled In I think it was it’s the small one I know that!

Old comment, but a lot of parts are for insurance. The frame sliders and case protectors being prime example. Hope he doesnt need them, but worth it if he does. As for the exhaust, these bikes get a pretty nice bump in power from aftermarket pipes. Not to mention the weight savings and sound.

I agree with you on this but it's his money. I would agree that the full stock system sounds amazing and for me I don't really want to be going around deafening everyone. I was looking at a CB1000R as well but that thing comes with a horrible exhaust, the GSXS is quite tasteful.

It help with the snatchy throttle. Thinking of doing a Ecu flash to get the beast out. Wanted to ask. You mentioned a custom map did you took it to a dyno and they install the map?. Not a lot of experience with tuning the bike but interested. I got a k&n air filter and a m4 slip on.

150Bhp GSX-S1000. Brilliant bike, get a ECU flashed and upgrade the throttle body and you will go from 150Bhp @ 11,000rpm to 185Bhp 13,000rpm, 145mph to 183mph and the acceleration will be from 0-60mph in 3.3 second to 2.2 second.. Nice bike, I have a 2018 f model. I have the exact same turn signals but got them from koso. Not sure of koso manufactures them and puts a yoshi logo on them or vice versa, either way you're right, they're bright as hell and clean up the look of the bike. I kept stock header and put on a yoshi alpha can, mostly for looks. The bike is plenty fast enough for me stock, I dont need a full system and tune, maybe after a few more years on the track I'll be able to ride mine to its limits in stock form. I also have the same protection kit from t rex, was the very first thing I bought. You should check out magazi mirrors tho, they make some pretty slick designs that look good on the gsxs. Those $30 Ebay mirrors literally will fall apart, the glass is held in with hot glue, and it will fail. All around nice bike, thanks for sharing.

PapaNeedsABreak there’s no particular order just follow the directions on the translogic quick shifter. The instructions are very clear. Why did you get a sterling stabilizer? Did you have a actual shake or do you just like them! I only wished I had one once had a ZX900RR come down off a 90mph wheelie and started tank slap but luckily I knew to pop it back up and stop it then set it back down again! It could have went real bad but it worked! But only time I ever actually thought 💭 I need a stabilizer so I’m just curious why you got one!

The S 1000r is a better overall bike right from the dealership but the gsxs 1000 has more potential and has a better engine. That’s just my personal opinion, you have to do your research and make that decision for yourself.

You didn't try the horn, the standard one is useless at 40 plus, you can't hear it!! Cheap choice Suzuki! Try the PIAA twin horn but as they are plastic keep then away from the stinking hot engine by using the tank bag as their home, route wiring up to the bag. Beautiful dual tone which you can hear!!! BTW I live in Greece where you really need it.

Hi, how did you find the install of the radiator guard? Did you have to remove the fairing? Looking to buy the exact same one but not sure about what is necessary for the install

@@hooliganconcepts5052 Ok but I didn't buy it yet, I'm wondering about the install. Did you remove the fairing or just slided it on the radiator (and fixed it via the screws already on the bike)

Pariso 690 Yes you have to take the lawyer and side fairings off. The install is pretty easy.

Have you checked the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) setting for your throttle issue? I just did mine the other day, and getting it correct was a huge improvement. You should see info on it here gsx-s.info/suzuki-gsx-s1000-problems/ .
