I miss my 300whp Del Sol (Full bolt ons and supercharged RSX type S engine, LSD 6 speed rans). Oil pan lived an inch from the ground and I busted 2 of em or I'd still have it. It would hang with 600cc bikes in my experience. Hurt alot of other car owners feelings with that car, especially a 450hp Evo owner that was pissed bc he couldn't win after several pulls. Mustangs hated it. I never got to go against a Corvette but I'm quite sure I could've hung 3rd to 5th once I got traction. 1st and second were kinda useless. I have some sh*t quality videos on my profile of when I first bought it and getting used to the car and torque steer that could make you meet the sidewalk real quick.

I've had a GSX-R 750 and currently have a Scat Pack Challenger. The Challenger is a tire roasting beast that wants to kill you, that being said, there is no comparison to the GSX=R. Sport bikes are just on another level. They're much better at putting the power to the ground as long as you can keep the front end down.

When I used to have a sport bike and would occasionally dust cars, I was always afraid the car wouldn’t realize the race was over and come flying up behind me and not be able to stop lol One time I decided to pull out and pass a mustang who burned out turning in front of us. I gunned it and past him, but a car was coming the other way so I had to immediately move back over to the right in front of him, then a car pulled out of a side street in our lane and I had to smash the brakes to keep from hitting him. I was just staring at my mirrors hoping the mustang didn’t sandwich me. Now I’m too old for that and ride a cruiser. Glad I survived my dumb period on bikes.

@@muscleandimports yeah I rode a KTM rc390 for like a week, then a carbie ninja 600 or 650 whatever they were it was an 03 model then my mate got the gsxr750 and said take it for a quick ride.. I only went up a straight road but it was mind boggling how fast it was. From memory think I went full throttle from first gear to the bottom of third gear and looked down and was doing 220km/hr and backed off lol

I started on a k7 600 and then moved to a k7 750. At 40k miles, the 750 was starting to show its age so I sold it to upgrade to my s1000rr, but I still miss it to this day. The 750 really is the perfect balance.

I ride a 2022 Yamaha R1 with a factory top speed of 182 mph at 198 horsepower weighing only 434 pounds filled with gas. Nothing compares except a Tesla. Most people do not have any idea how fast these bikes are now. My other bike is a 2020 Yamaha 200 HP 1700 cc Vmax. That beast is a sleeper unless you know what it is.
