I used to ride like this nonstop, weaving through traffic, lane splitting, etc on my r6 because I never thought it could happen to me. One night riding home, an intoxicated lady randomly did an illegal uturn in front of me at an intersection when I had the green light. Now my dream bike is totaled and I had surgery for a broken pelvis, forearm, and clavicle, my balls were swollen to the size of a softball and black from the impact of the seat. I'm still in physical therapy and I can barely walk or get out of bed weeks later. Buddy in the video wasn't even wearing gear, he was in shorts and a sleeveless shirt lol. My crash happened going 45mph and I wasn't wearing gear either. If some dumbass pulls in front of you at the speed y'all are going you're going to get extremely serious injuries or die. I was really lucky. Be careful mannnnnn

I'm happy you're at least healing and that the accident didn't end your life, but I mean, if you're waving through traffic at crazy high speeds, riding between cars without really any need to, aren't you the dumb one? And I don't mean you, of course if the other person was intoxicated and did and illegal turn she's of course the dumb one, but in most cases, isn't the one waving through traffic the dumb one? Literally had the same thing happen to me, some lady did an illegal Uturn when my light was green. When from 50 to 0 instantly. My CBR 1000rr that I had for like 3 months from time of purchase went one way and I went the other. Woke up in a ditch with my lower 3 vertebrae herniated and my upper 3 in my neck slipped. My buddy said I bounced off the road, flew like 30ft through the air and bounced off the sidewalk. Wasn’t wearing riding pants only regular jeans, but thank god I was wearing gloves, riding jacket and a helmet cause all my gear was shredded. Helmet looked like some one tossed it in a dryer with a shit ton of sand paper. Turns out there were lots of bystanders telling the cops the same thing that night, cause I won my lawsuit and got myself a ninja ZX14r.

@@yamkaw346 I was thinking about getting an r1. Not my first bike obviously lol. Went to a local shop and they had a beautiful r6 there. I'm torn between that and an r1. Which do you think I should go for? The main reason I was leaning towards the r1 is because of the face melting speed, the low end torque, the up & down quick shifter, etc. Also I've heard that the r6 is gutless down low in the rev range. But on the other hand, the r6 is cheaper both outright and to insure, still is plenty fast, still sounds amazing, and is lighter.

There are worse ways do this, for sure. They aren't going balls to the wall as fast as they can, the dude's tone of voice showed he was fully aware of his actions and how he wanted to go about it. I just got my R1 2 weeks ago, still haven’t made it to dmv lol I’ve passed cops and turned in front of them with no tag or signal, they did nothing. I also don’t do anything crazy and mostly cruise to work or around town so not like I draw excessive attention 🤷‍♂️ my cruisers I have been pulled over several times, definitely seeing the perks of the R1!

Engine sound just made me miss my blue '09. Crossplane had a great sound to it, especially with aftermarket exhaust.

This is a great tone on the cammer bike. It doesn't have so much of that high end sound that most other bikes have and it's wonderful

It’s hard not to say well done! When cops themselves will blow red lights or any kind of traffic ordinance just because they can and there is virtually no one to police their crazy driving…plus we should have the same privileges as the Germans have…being that Eisenhower modeled our interstate system on the Autobahn! You may not be riding above your skill level, but you are also definitely sharing the road with people who are driving above theirs. @@billarmstrong7493 Probably a LOT of experimental test pilots though. This was tame and controlled driving (unlike people who text and drive), only people they are risking are themselves and they seem very collected and know the decisions they are making. The reason NOT to stop is because you don't want to lose your clearance, but no tags + no stop = no crime on record. I have a couple degrees in engineering, this by comparison is VERY VERY tame for Texas speeds. This was highly calculated and calm, well within their reasonable skill level (keeping calm and calculated is probably the biggest factor as it drives everything else). So was it reckless? Not much, only part was when they hit 140 and made the right choice and backed off speed due to traffic. Otherwise that's not that fast, in Texas you can drive for hours in triple digit speeds no issue (I've never had a speeding fine). Even when its raining, at night, doing triple digits someone will still pass you like you're standing still on the side of the highway.

At least one. Try to go to trial and some wacky DA might hit you with reckless endangerment as well as evading arrest and 100mph over the speed limit.

This is in my hometown of Weatherford, TX. Got pretty lucky at some of those lights. Cool video. Lots of law enforcement in this town, sherrif dept, trooper and Weatherford PD. Suprising there wasn't another LEO nearby.

Got pissed off at one going to work one morning. 1:45 headed to work lady pulled me over right there by the malt shop for having my cruise set at 52. I was so pissed off I just slammed on my brakes when she pulled me over. Almost rear ended me, and walked up to my car physically shaking. Needless to say, that went quickly because I chewed her ass out for wasting my time. Ruined my entire fucking day too. I had a job where literal minutes made all the difference. I was late making a delivery and it ended up backing up my day 4 hours.

You dont have to know much of anything about the bike to be able to tell which one is faster. If one has the engine reving at high rpms and the other is able to keep up or even pass at lower rpms and the other one is still at screaming high revs thats all you really have to know to be able to tell the difference.

@Brad Allen the average liter bike with be making similar hp or more at around 8000 rpms compared to a 600 reving at 14,000rpms. Pick any rpm in the rev range and it will be making 20-30% more torque. This video clearly shows the power difference between the two

Can someone explain how this works? I obviously get bikes are faster and smaller but the office has their plates, why can't he just show up at their door or at least send him a ticket?

Pretty sure they're not rocking their plates. I ride with mine in my backpack on hooligan type rides.

@@tc1845 Saying "that car almost killed us" implies that it was the driver's fault. He wasn't just stating a fact. Anyone with a brain knows that. He didn't say "we almost hit that car", or "We almost ran into that car" The guy on the bike most certainly acted like most bikers do. Like they own the road, and blame other people when accidents happen due to dangerous riding.

The blue bike didn’t have a plate, going to assume OP didn’t either. Generally you don’t run if you’re running a plate. Though, in my state there’s no such thing as speed cameras, red light cameras or LE traffic cameras, so as long as the cop didn’t see ur plate and u can get away u have a good chance.

I love this so much. I absolutely despise law forcers and their bullshit.
