Never underestimate those old OBS GMs. I have the 1500 version of Ike's truck, 25 years old and it just keeps going! (OG Engine AND Transmission 👍)

Improve and lessen the shifter throw by increasing the angles of the pivot points. And using springs as helpers and keepers. Try experimenting with that🤙🤙

I loved meeting y’all again this year, can’t wait for next year

Hey Charles, incase you were wondering, it's called Autogenous when you only use heat and the weld material no filler metal to fuse two pieces of metal together.

It was great to see you guys out at pate again this year. Always enjoy talking tech with Ike. Got to say hello to John he was about to eat South Charles for about a half a second then he was gone. Hope to see you guys next year. Looking forward to the builds to come this year.

Over the years, I've watched you guys, and you always made me want a minibike. So finally, I built one out of an old bike frame. The thing was sweet but lasted less than a week (the tire blew out and the welds started to fail). But now that I'm in welding class right now, I decided to give it another try. Anyway, thank you, guys, for being a big motivation.

I'm watching and thinking that you might want to think about a custom handle bar steering rather then the steering wheel. Back in the 60's, my grandfather built me and my brother a custom conversion lawnmower/Minnie bike with all mower wheels, tires, custom drive train parts, custom hand made seat, and a steel angle iron frame, he went with handlebars with grips. it was so amazing. We tore up the farm fields with it. Nice job on your speed racer! Awesome job guys!

I told ya! I did this when i ws 13yrs old 1980, to an old IH cub cadet.used a 2 cylinder 600cc yamaha junkyard motor It had 5 lug rear differential , i put 15 inch rims with studded snow tires from junkyard I lived next door to...built lots of stuff we had like 50 acres behind us.

I love these parallel twin engines, I've got a 79 Honda cm400 with a parallel twin on it I just replaced lower jug gasket,head gasket and valve cover relapsed the valves and adjusted them

Never gonna believe this haha. I just purchased a small piece of property 15 acres, I found an old Manco Dingo hanging from a tree. It must have been used for target practice there's several bullet holes in it. My brother in law have it torn apart. We're gonna get it running again and driving but we're keeping the bullet holes as nostalgia. 😅

One of the local shops built a mini rail dragster with a 750 CC Honda engine and car rear tires ! It was something to see ! About 25' long but not as much fun to bomb around in (as your mower) because it took way to much space to turn it around ... :)

My kid really loves watching you guys and we enjoy tinkering together on projects of our own. Our dream is a racing mower similar to cars and cameras with 1 maybe 2 vintage McCulloch kart engines powering the mower. Thats a custom build we dream about. On a different note we were very upset hearing about good people getting their hard work taken. You know there are alot of ex military guys looking for work who specialize in finding bad guys. I bet if you offered to help build a custom racing mower or something along those lines as a reward, some of these ex military guys would gladly give a look around for those beautiful bikes for you. And probably handle a small swift punishment of the bad guys for free so they wont ever do it again.this is family friendly so violence shouldn't be condoned. Thats why the punishment part should be free. 😊

Wow you guys got a CR500 IE: The Widow Maker. I remember when they used to be cheap because people used to 4 strokes would get them not realizing how different a 2 stroke is, take it out once or twice and scare the shit out of themselves and then quickly try to sell it or trade for something more manageable. That's an awesome find! But be careful, they well earned their nickname.
