Grymharth's Woe - "The Sunset Estate"

Ойындар

The home and study of an unassuming vampire that misses the sun, and has learned to simulate it though textile, magical and botanical means. In other words, I’m over winter and I’ve never particularly wanted a ‘dark, blood, and torture’ themed house. The vampire I built this home for (pictured awkwardly in the bathroom) is just a big softie that just wants to stay home.
The idea behind this house was 'Lo-fi/rain ambiance video'. Built this house a week ago, and polished it up today, March 2023.
The artificial sunbeams are Deadlands Wall Spikes sunk just beneath surfaces.
Credit to Feendish898's wonderful homes for making me realize artificial window scenes were even possible.
I have no idea who to credit for the record player idea; I'm certain I saw one years ago and I'm not imaginative enough to come up with it entirely on my own.

Absolutely love your build. I just want to move into it irl. Thank you so much for sharing and also thank you for panning slowly. I paused a lot and watched a couple of times just to see all the details and admire all the work you put into it.

It blows my mind how creative people can be. Here I am struggling just to make a chair tilt just the right way so it looks like someone might actually sit in it and look comfortable, yet here you are making entire nooks and shelves and stoves with items that aren't even designed for it. You're too good XD

Oh goodness believe me, 97% of the time I'm right there with you, struggling with chairs. This type of housing is way way way out of my wheelhouse. Trying to make furniture work like this is very frustrating for me. I'm so much happier doing ruins and caves haha!

This build has extreme levels of both beauty and coziness. Also, brilliant use of the Deadlands wall spikes. Made me smile!

This looks sooo good! I love the rounded hallway/seating area entrance. But in general, just the overall 'lived in' feel is amazing! Oh! and the couch cobbles... awesome!

Gorgeous! Man the hard work that went into this blew my mind to consider. I love the stove and I love the cozy bed nook! I shudder at the price tag, but you got me wondering now what I can make out of those nitfy high isle arches...

WOW the whole build is absolutely divine! Some of the cobbles are so genius, I am lowkey jealous I didn't come up with them myself ^_^ the bathtub being n1 in my opinion. Great work!

The nook is two High Isle Stairway, Tilework! One rightside up, and one upside down right beneath it. The bookcases are covering the gaps in the arch. :D en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:High_Isle_Stairway,_Tilework
