Happy New Year!! I do the same thing every Sunday. My outfits laid out for the week. I go big. All the hair, sunnies, hats, etc. All I have to do is pick up and put on. 15 minutes and out the door

I enjoyed it. I went with my girlfriend for my first viewing. I took my family 2 days after Christmas. If you loved the first movie iteration of Alice Walker’s tale, then you’ll love it. I’m not a huge fan of musicals and I was worried. But because the music was soulful and the dancing was really good, I enjoyed it.

I have seen The Color Purple twice already..that should say a lot! Loved it. The negative 'Nanny's have not been keeping up with the information shared prior to the movie starting. its a MUSICAL.. and not a mirror of the original nor the stage Broadway Play. It stand alone and is fabulous.
