This show is really hilarious I specially like the Christmas episode is excellent for the holiday blues

I've been on many over seas holidays I've enjoyed every single of them I'm just grateful to be able to go on them

Michael Winner was correct: time and again, I've stayed in 5* Hotels, only to have the place (the cuisine, the location etc.) spoiled by replicants of that Harry Enfield character "Considerably Richer than You!" :(

The remark about post soviet Poland is so true unfortunately. Thank God my country changed a lot in the last 20-30 years.

As an American I've always been so jealous of Brits being able to go off to a Holiday in another country by just a short flight over to Europe, in the same time it takes me who lives in the Washington DC area to go to New York City....uggghhh. boring!!

DONT GO ON HOLLIDAY! just stay at home, save your money and time

For God’s sake dont use a package deal. Book a hotel in the place (in our case city) of your choice online- you can see what you are getting there. Book your flight online and then any corresponing trave train/bus. And suddenly you are there. We’ve done it 12 times and it’s never failed. Last time i went on a package holiday was 1979 - cost my parents a fortune and they were so tight fisted i had to sleep in a camp bed in their room and i was 15.

I confess. When me, my mum and my sister were on holiday in Disneyland Paris a few years ago, we sneaked dozens of chocolate croissants every day at breakfast to have for lunch later. Hands up anyone else who's done that on holiday :)

I've been lucky enough to have gone on many many holidays growing up, and not once have we had one of these hotel reps. We don't take package deals. I don't know why you would honestly.

It's about cost, quite often that's all that people can afford👍

Not British but the idea of this style of holiday is simply madness. English buffet.......🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

At the resort, my mates and I would raid the continental breakfast bar and take anything not stapled down. Eat it out in the boat or anything that gets soiled with sand and bait juice would be bait.

My fellow country people do not just put their towels on the sun lounges, one can hardly hold them back putting it on THEIR chairs in the buffet room, like at a medical cure ore something. Once I sat next to some people we were talking nicely wished each other a good night, all very friendly, and went to sleep. while next day they would not even greet me at all. First I thought, oh gosh, what did I say wrong last evening, but then I realized I had just been sitting on one of THEIR chairs they had chosen on arrival. Ugh!

Don't ever go to the introduction meeting!!! you can get better for less at the local agents and feel superior at not being duped and you get to see more interesting places.

@Lionstar16 The amount they charge fo breakfast it's worth grabbing some bread and fruit for later on.

Sadly a lot of families only manage to go on holiday if they go somewhere like that, because it's cheaper, so yes I know it's easy to stereotype the people that go to those places as people who want a cheap, all they can drink lager holiday.... But actually most are hard working minimum wage families who desperately want their children to have nice holidays like so many others. It's sad, but it all comes down to being able to afford it, and if you can book in advance, or if late cheaper deals are necessary due to finances. It's easy to stereotype and / Or mock yes I'm sure many people fit the stereotype, but many many others are families with parents who want to give their children all the experiences and memories possible, with the UK minimum wage that's not easy. Just something to bare in mind. 👍

Jane Moore and Michael Winner deserve these holidays.

Us Aussies are sadly too often dreadful tourists. My family have found ourselves lying about where we are from just to save the judgement.

the problem is other people..micheal winner...it works both ways with you aswell!

I always fly first class and get picked up at the airport by Rolls Royce taken to my hotel which I never have to complain about.

Sun lounger war in full swing- German's getting all the best rooms. Slightly xenophobic, but true!

if you buy a package deal or go on tour, and don't do your research you deserve to be miserable all week.

No real traveller goes on a package hol ever.

Everyone on this program has some great observations, but do they honestly do the same as us plebs now they are celebrities. i m sure they love to believe they all have the common touch but they probably go to their Villas and their houses in Seychelles or take private jets, and have nannies.

This is how British people do vacation? Weird no wonder they are unhappy on here and what is a holiday rep? We don’t have such a thing

The KJV of the Bible is both inaccurate and invalid! It was written for the benefit, (or detriment), of a people who were quite determined to turn their backs on The One True Church, The One established by Jesus Christ Himself, The Roman Catholic Church, and incidentally of which, that that passes for It today, is most DEFINITELY NOT!
