FYI - in their prime, Sophia Loren and Ann Margret were tough to beat in the looks dept. Ann has been in 87 movies, her first in 1961. Sophia has been in 99 movies, her first in 1950.

No other Penguin has ever came close to touching his role in the 1960s Batman

This movie was Burgess Meredith’s last film. He had Alzheimer’s disease by that point and had to be gently coached through the role. Despite all that, he still had some of the best lines and delivery in the movie.

He was a real class act. His performances in The Twilight Zone series were amazing! I really liked him with John Wayne "In Harm's Way".

“Looks like God remembered you, Pop” 💔💔💔💔💔 As much laughter this movie brings us one single line shreds our hearts I couldn’t wait to see the reactions of his lines but if we could only do without the pain.

Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon were an outstanding on-screen duo. they costarred in 10 or more films. Off screen they were best friends and even were buried close to each other.

Back in the day, Sophia Lauren was the bomb. Still looked great for this. Your reaction was even better than I had hoped.

Burgess Meredith is as much a gift as ever in Grumpier Old Men.

@taun856 I've been to the Grumpy Old Men festival in Waubesha. There's an ice fishing tourney, polar plunge and Rigetti Spaghetti feed, among other things.

Enjoy Whole 9 yards and Whole 10 yards. Pollack also plays a "Brownie" named Rool in the 1988 movie "Willow" along with Warwick Davis, Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley. He was in 1992 "A Few Good Men", the 1995 "The Usual Suspects" and the 2016 "War Dogs". all are a lot of fun. Glad you liked this one.

Fun fact, Walter Mathieu was a WW2 vet that served under a man that was an actor before the war and he told Walter to follow his dreams. He is a hero along with being an amazing actor!

I've met Kevin Pollak a few times. Really good guy. A Few Good Men and The Usual Suspects are both incredible films and good to react to.

Why do I get the feeling that Tori wants to play an angry Italian mom, lol! XD Though I would love to see that! ;) Just like Ann-Margret, Sophia Loren was a beautiful sex icon in the 60's and 70's. And even in this movie they both still look great! This was Burgess Meredith's last movie role before passing away in 1997, though his last acting role was in a FMV (Full Motion Video) computer game called Ripper, which is about a Jack the Ripper-esque killer in a future New York. It also has stars like Christopher Walken, Karen Allen, David Patrick Kelly, Ossie Davis, Paul Giamatti, John Rhys-Davies and Jimmie Walker. Would love to see either a gameplay or a walkthrough reaction on that game ;) Lucky Boo and the Subscribe pillow, I wouldn't mind beeing held/hugged by Toy like that also ;) =) When it comes to Kevin Pollock, The Usual Suspects and Casino (which is actually a fitting movie to have a double feature with The Goodfellas).

Sophia Loren was once considered by many to the most beautiful woman on the planet. Love seeing her in this film.

It's good that we had to wait until 1995 to see a movie starring both Ann-Margret and Sophia Loren. Because if there had been a movie starring both of them 30 or even 20 years earlier, men all over the world would have had to have been hospitalized for prolonged lack of blood flow to the brain.

A good film with your favorite old man . Burgess Meridith is titled "A big hand for a little lady" I think you'd both enjoy it,

Re-watching this and this line punches me in the nose.... John: "Dad tried to catch that fish for 20 years. Catfish Hunter deserves to be in the lake with Pop." What if this was Pop's way of saying goodbye

There was supposed to be a Grumpiest Old Men where Marias divorce wasn't legal so they would have travelled to Italy to take care of it in their usual comedic way, but Walter Matthau died before they could do it.

I knew a family who had a teenage daughter who was lesbian, and they were all big fans of this movie and the daughters favorite line to quote was "Lesbians Yummy!"👩‍❤‍👩😋🤣

If you want to see more of these two geniuses you should watch "Out to Sea" or their most famous movie "The Odd Couple" (a personal favorite)

Only half way through so far but this is fantastic! :) I haven't seen this in a few years, and I'm cracking up at you two and your reactions!

I remember as a kid watching Grumpy Old Men as a kid and didn’t like the film. But at the time I was a kid. I do have both movies on DVD and should watch them both because I probably get everything now a days lol

Toy and Abby Reason for Pops dying in that scene is Burgess Meredith was feeding lines from the crew onset. I believe that he had onset memory loss. Two years later, Burgess died the age of 89. By the way, Burgess played iconic The Penguin from 60's Campy series, Batman with Adam West as Batman (West played himself as Mayor West in Family Guy). That scene with Pops died gotten me emotional.

ok, first off I know how freaking crazy this sounds but I have never in my life seen you guys before, however last night I had a dream about the girl in the blue... during the dream I thought it was my SIL but the tattoos (mainly the hand tats) and the facial features kept me questioning it, the odd thing was her sisters were giving her a pre wedding massage and when I approached only options I had were to massage her hands, and my absolute very first and most memorable reaction was "My SIL does not have any tattoos let alone hand tattoos" I don't know what to make of this other than an unbelievably strange coincidence, but sheesh I couldn't just not share it.

I have a disease called - Octo-Humo-Otango-Loo- Po which is a fear of the elderly . I myself am in middle age so I won’t look in the mirror because I terrify me . I like the idea of this film, but I can’t watch it because of My intense fear of old folks. I’m sure it was very good. Please review the film ‘ Munchies ‘ gremlins totally ripped it off and it’s amazing !! Huge fan!!

41:50 interestingly enough, first time I saw this movie, I didn’t understand why they were so excited by that catfish. It didn’t seem that big next to some of the mud cats I’ve seen in Alabama.
