Lawd have mercy, the way I thought this was going in a very different direction when Aaron started walking away… even Zoey thought she lost him for good. But when he came back just to reveal a present he had got her, I melted. The support he had reciprocated for her own dreams was so beautiful. Moments like these, where it’s hard because your lives don’t always align with each other’s at the same time but your support for one another is endless… is what is always gonna make these two find their way back to each other. P.S Zoey calling Aaron her true love was everything.

Stuff like this even in fiction proves love is not allmighty, and also sometimes can be really stupid.

That was the sweetest moment ever. I am so proud of Zoe for following her dreams even though making that decision to walk away from going to south africa with Aaron wasn't easy, I'm glad that he supports her.

It's called a rat tail and it is vintage from the 80s/90s just like his faded hair cut. Black card revoked.

It was a tough decision for her but I am glad Zoey chose what it felt "right for her". She worked hard for her dreams and goals. I knew Aaron would understand, he loves her and they have matured so much during this series and it shows. By the way, such an emotional episode.

This is a great story line. The writers could have done a standard ending of Aaron staying or worse, Zoey going, but they had them both following their bigger dreams. I would have hated Zoey giving up her dream for a man. I'd also hate Aaron giving up his as well. That's why I enjoyed this ending.

i’m so glad he didn’t give up his dreams and i’m glad she didn’t give up her’s.

This is a good one, Zoey has always been spontaneous with decisions. She came to college to become a Design pro in the fashion industry and all, I believe she chose rightly this time.

Ngl-I was crying watching this scene. The way Zoey’s voice cracked when she said “I love you so much”- by then I was wiping away tears. I’ve never cried while watching this series. Don’t get me wrong, I’m always for Zoey choosing herself, following her dreams, & seeing all her hard work come to fruition. I just want her talent to stand on its own, because she’s hella dope & it definitely can, no matter how magical her creative partnership w/Luca is. I’m probably the only one who thinks if Zoey had chosen to go w/Aaron, it wouldn’t have been her “following a man” over her career but oh well, I won’t conform to crowds & their opinions. I feel it’s nothing wrong w/her wanting to hold her man down and be w/him after all they’ve been through to be together. The opportunity she has with Anti Muse is rare, sure, but the fact that she’s found her other half in Aaron is just as rare because many don’t. He’s always held her down & supported her before Zaaron was a thing. Even when it meant he would suffer in not seeing her for months, he encouraged her to go overseas w/Joey. Even while breaking up with her & breaking her heart, he wanted to be the kind of man Zoey deserves, it killed him to hurt her. Even in doing that though, he was STILL thinking of her. He’s the realest she has ever had, he didn’t tell not one lie in Mexico!!! Hearing her call him her true love, that right there might’ve made their breakup completely worth my 3 weeks of heartache. What really, really got me though, is when Zoey started walking in the house, sobbing, thinking Aaron was going to leave & that would be the end of them permanently, only for Aaron to say “Yo, Freshman……I love you too” on some Love & Basketball, double or nothing type ish-my heart fell out my damn chest. The love they have for each other and how it has only gotten deeper is everything to me. Zaaron’s evolution has been so beautiful to see. Oh yeah-I was geeked seeing Aaron gift Zoey that necklace & then when he said he wanted to make it fashion for her-please, that man is still head over heels in love w/her!! I’ve been waiting for Zoey to rock an A pendant on a necklace or for Aaron rock a Z earring in one of his ears or something but I’ll take the Africa pendant😩😂

@@casuallym3 He has made his mistakes too, the biggest one smashing her best friend-even though Zaaron weren’t together atp or hadn’t been physical, he still showed poor judgment w/that situation. Then he cheated on his ex so one could say Zoey should be worried about him cheating on her. I only say this because just as much as I agree that Aaron is the realest she’s ever had, he’s been impulsive and kinda reckless at times, just like Zoey.

Also calling them toxic is ridiculous cause they only break up once after they’ve been together for over a year due to Aaron struggling mentally and once he got himself straight, they got back together

I don't think the writers did they research and it also shows that Doug not being Luca's partner exposes Luca to his wishful thinking. What's worse is that Zoey didn't bother researching the extent of South Africa by assessing the pros and cons. At this point it reveals that the writers didn't develop thier characters to be stand out characters...

Aaron deserves a lot better. This is no doubt a One Side Relationship.

I think they both made the right decision. With that being said this is classic Example of what happens in real life..
