October was Mexican American Heritage Month and I wanted to share my experience growing up Mexican American. The older I get the more I realize how much my ethnicity shaped my journey in the US and would love for you guys to share your story as well.

Hey, I can relate to most of your life experiences. My mom and dad are from a small town in Mexico and migrated to Texas. Could not attend school after middle school equivalency. I got a BBA Management Degree for them though aye. Proud Mexican Americans

It wasn't hilarious at 12 years old lol. I was really insecure about it. Now, I know it's fine and that actually women get injections to make their looks similar. Funny story, my sister who used to make fun of me asked me to take a picture of my lips so she could show her plastic surgeon. Ahaha it came full circle.
