Growing up Fatherless | Alexander Plummer | TEDxYouth@EEB3
Sometimes, what we need most is a fresh start, so we break off from our current habits to start over again. Other times, new beginnings aren’t something we ask for. Five years ago, I lost my father, and it would be impossible to exaggerate the effect it’s had on my life. Everything around me changed, and it truly was a new beginning. On the other hand, every new beginning reveals something new about the world, and even though growing up fatherless has been difficult, it’s also allowed me to see things in a unique way and realise things that would have taken me years to understand otherwise. In this talk, I’ll be talking about these insights about the world from the point of view of a fatherless kid, as well as discussing what it is we need to do to confront this growing problem which is already affecting millions.

No it is not your fault, there is nothing wrong about you. I grew up without my dad and realized I don't need him, I don't miss him at all either bc you can't miss what you never had. Great talk, I wish him all the best and for all you struggling out there, you are strong and beautiful and you are worth it!!

Easy to say and comment like 🤧😜👍🙂😆
This guy needs therapy. He is too into himself, his imagination of fatherhood is grossly misleading.

It's called growing up. I don't see any gray hair on him..
How can you see people like that😂?
Appreciate the Ted talk, but I'm honestly very confused with this guy's hairstyle choice for a Ted talk. I mean, you can barely see his face
Horrible ted talk.
