Growing Strawberries In Pots Or Containers!
Growing Strawberries In Containers Is Easy! Strawberries are made to grow in pots and containers on your patio or deck. Being shallow-rooted and quite undemanding, these fruiting favorites are an essential summertime snack that don't need a ton of space to grow!
Strawberry plants need about 4" of space between them to grow properly and optimally, so most large nursery pots can easily house multiple Strawberry crowns, ensuring you a bountiful summer harvest.
Use the tips and strategies in this video to provide you and your family the best-tasting organic fruit that money can't buy!

Bought my little girls strawberries plants yesterday,, I think the pots will work perfectly for them since the last ones where damages by their chickens,,
I read in a gardening magazine and also saw on the Epic Gardening channel that for everbearing strawberries, you pick the flowers off until early June. That gives the leaves more time to grow and develop, which helps produce more and larger strawberries for two harvestings after that. Your thoughts about this, please.

Hi Anna, thanks so much for stopping by and watching. Happy that you're enjoying the videos, take care!
Thx for sharing- I was searching for a grow bag video- I’m going to use 7 gallon bags instead of 5 gallon and give them more space-got a dozen June bearing plants to set out today- almanac says today is good for planting strawberries- got 4 bags set up for testing 4 different soil mixes ((Happy frog, ocean forest, Strawberry Fields, miracle grow )) -yeah I know it’s too late to expect any berries this year-but,hopefully next year will be berrie-berrie good--to me
My first time growing strawberries I am living in linden town Guyana south America so it is warm here we do get rain I have learned a lot about planting strawberries in pot I will prepare mine the way you did hope to get beautiful berries like yours thanks 🙏 for sharing friend
Interesting and informative. I got one plant from someone who couldn't bother with one of the two (1died)received by her son for his 7th bd. I repotted it. It bore about 6, then produced 9 young plants. I am now ready to pot them. Thanks for the info.

@@TheRipeTomatoFarms staple crop for me is always tomatoes. Burpee had a 3 plant mix and max option this year, so I went with a cherry tomato variety, beefsteak, and a plum tomato. It has been a few years since one grown, but I think 2021 (may have been 2020), I did a bunch of cucumber, tomato, and chili pepper varieties all in pots and had great success. I think after this year I'm finally going to build some raised beds like I've been talking about for the last 5+ years lol

I’ve got a plant already somewhat grown at big bear & brought it here to Bakersfield. The leaves look dried , not sure if it’s cause my dog sat on the vines & bent them some type of way or I’m just not watering it enough or the heat. It did bloom one flower bud today but she does seem happier inside than the outside heat
