Growing Mulberry Trees from Cuttings
You can make 5 trees from one branch! In this video, I show you how! Mulberry is one of the easiest, most enjoyable trees to grow from cuttings. Once they're in the pot, I water the cuttings like I water any other plant.

I had a bad pear tree, caused Canker fungus on my mulberry tree in spot on branches...I spray with Neem oil, nothing help...What a crying shame...Grafted trees are waste where I live, insects attack...To much work but it hurt my precious mulberry... Mulberry prone to canker so anyone,do not bring home strange grafted stock, could pass something into your orchard..I am ready to mow down twenty three fruit trees just to keep my precious mulberry's disease free...Mulberry's gift from god...Every home should have.. It is not worth it,never be greedy,be happy with Mulberry's...All we need
Love a man that can plant some mulberry ☺🤣
I was always told to put rocks in the bottom to allow for better draining not to clog the holes 😊
That looks longer than 8 inches lol
I m from Pakistan😂
Ive never used hormones or anything on mulberry ive literally taken the cutting put into a pot with soil and nothing else, with 90% success
This dude was toasted. Thanks for the knowledge though bro I just found a white mulberry tree near me and I’m trying it
This was one of the best vid on this subject. I'll update you if mine work!
After buying a single cutting just to test out and then later learning they can sometimes just be male or female rather than complete, I'm now worried LOL. It's still not flowering so I still have no way of knowing. It's already at 5 mos now but it's in a pot.
I put some cuttings of Pakistani Mulberry in water first, then in a mixture of 1/3 rd sand, perlite and peat moss, and put them in the garage, average temperature 67 during winter in Sacramento. They started developing shoots, but NO ROOTS. What should I do? Pluck off all shoots and bring them inside? Please advise
Nice video. Very informative. I do find mulberry trees very easy to propagate from cuttings. I do it slightly different to your way. Because mulberry cuttings root very easily, I don't pamper them by wrapping each one like you did. I jet get a bundle of 4-5, depending on how thick they are, I loosely tied them up into a bundle. It is just a simple matter of putting the bundle into a potting mix. To keep the cuttings moist, I put a single-use plastic bag over the cuttings. The bag slipped over the pot, and I simply tie a string to keep the bag in place. Every couple of days, I removed the bag, water the pot, and put the bag back over the pot.
Thanks for this video. I just got cuttings and I'm going to follow your instructions.
