Wow, growing greens outside all winter ? Must be extreme south. Still cold at night here in my area and cant plant anything outside until after mothers day earliest. I need a cold frame to grow greens in winter. 8 months of winter 4 months of summer That's it for me in the Rockies but I feel safe up here.😊

Did you make your trellis in the container?

I purchased a 16 x 50 cattle panel from Tractor Supply and cut it to the size I wanted. I use the other section in another part of the garden. This was an affordable option - trellises can be expensive. I bought it a couple years ago, but I just checked their website and it looks like the price is $25.99 now. If you can get two or more trellises out of that, it's a great deal. And they last forever. Here is the link: www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/feedlot-panel-cattle-16-ft-l-x-50-in-h
I recently heard cucumbers don’t like tomatoes and peppers. Have u done this combination successfully before?

I have grown them together and had good results! There is a lot of opinion out there about companion planting that isn't supported by scientific research. When it comes to planting heavy feeders, like tomatoes and cucumbers together, there are a few basics to consider: providing enough nutrition for both, combining plants with similar light and water requirements, and give enough space for both. For space, grow cucumbers vertically and provide support for indeterminate tomatoes so they aren't shading each other. You can also choose determinate or dwarf varieties that stay smaller. It's a great way to maximize small spaces if managed well! Happy gardening 🙂
