Super info - I’m finding that alkaline soil you mentioned in my own yard. Do you have any recommendations for Castle Rock for an evergreen with more bluish needles?

The Colorado state tree, the blue spruce, is an excellent choice. It is available in a wide variety of forms from a globe blue spruce (a handsome shrub) to a large tree.
