Woah, two videos in one week! I can’t wait to see the rest of the van. This was the one and only thing I had someone else do for me- when my mechanic installed my inverter ( decided not to with DC/DC even though I know the inverter is not as efficient), he put a big fat beautiful ground to my chassis. If I had seen this before, maybe I would have attempted it but I’d rather leave electricity to the pros. 12 v little stuff I can handle myself 😊 Look at you go Tania! You’re so brave! And Marc, you should have been a teacher. ❤

Do you have a shore power connection? Did you ground it to the chassis as well?

Yes we do. We actually use it all the time. The shore power connects to the inverter/charger, which is grounded to the chassis. The inverter then connects to the negative bus, which is also grounded.

So what if I don't have a dc to dc wire how would i check if I have a good ground connection?

I think you can check any point by checking for resistance between that point at the negative terminal of the battery

Not that yalls videos are bad now. but I got to tell you they were much better before the HOA pulled their bullstiff. I enjoyed watching pre HOA now I just watch to help a small channel grow i hope.

Well it certainly was easier to work on the van in a more relaxed environment. Now, its just a lot of running back and forth anytime we want to do a little bit of work. Any thoughts on what made them better before? We would love to be able to improve them.
