We're Chris W. Smith and Jack De Sena (aka Chris & Jack). We've been friends for years and love making high-quality, high-concept sketch comedy. Chris was a Blue Man in Blue Man Group. Jack voiced Sokka in Avatar the Last Airbender. In 2016 we united to create this channel, confusingly titled “Chris & Jack”, which has served as a shared platform to write, produce, direct, edit, and star in our own stuff. Also, we were also ghosts the whole time you were reading this. Supernatural twist!

My biggest fear about Groundhog day is the possibility of one of the days I do something ridiculous being the day that the loop stops.
@joeya5147
3 жыл бұрын
I always think about that too, but I think slowly after being in the loop for months, you start to branch out in how crazy things get, after years you do even more crazier things. Then maybe after like a decade, after youve tried to kill yourself so many times you dont even pretend to care about anything and honestly you are just hoping that some ridculous horrible thing you do actually ends the loop just so you can know the sweet nothingness of death.

@@joeya5147 This is a great point, I guess kinda like overcoming anxiety through exposure. You slowly get used to the fact that pushing the limits still ends in the same loop (aka: doesn't hurt you) and get more and more comfortable with pushing it over time.

He could however write a few chapters per day, then the next day write the next few chapters, until eventually he knew how to write the entire book. Most of the time in writing a book is due to things other than writing - if you know the entire thing by heart and could just write non-stop without thinking about it you could probably write it all out in a few days once you're out of the loop.

I love how he had the note to seduce Jack in his back pocket. He would need to write that in the morning. He has definitely lived that day so many times he can determine exactly when Jack will ask whether he had ever been Andie McDowell'd. Chris could live the day differently, but this morning he chose to write the letter that would make Jack fall in love with him and yet he doesn't act on it. Just to make the point in the conversation? To subtly suggest to Jack that he is essentially God now with all he knows about the world?
