Rest In Peace Harold Ramis. This was your finest film.

I loved that man, and I didn't even know him.
I think that Groundhog Day is still Bill Murray's best picture to this day!

I think it's his second best behind the original Ghostbusters.

My favourite film of all time. I think even when I saw it aged 14/15 that I knew that the journey to happiness and fufilment portrayed in this movie was really the only one to take. I only hope I can get there one day :)

Truly a classic and Murray's best film.
Andie McDowell limited? She was perfect! She looked and acted like an angel!

Groundhog is one of my favorite movies! I was little when it came out and I would watch it alll the time! Basically every day.

I'd be hard pressed to describe Chris Eliott and his acting style to someone who had not seen him.
Imagine a life without fear of the unknown because everyday would be the same. "No tomorrow? That would mean there would be no consequences, there would be no hangovers. We could do whatever we wanted!"
"Groundhog Day" is the finest expression of eudaimonia and Aristotelian philosophy since the works of Thomas Aquinas and Ayn Rand.

Who starred with Andy McDowell in Groundhog Day?
Top 10 material.
I am surprised that no reference was made to Greek myth in the commentary e.g. Sisyphus, Tantalus, Prometheus.
@NameCallingIsWeak i think she's a great actress too..
You insulted Andie, and I'm leaving ...

there's no reason to call Andy McDowell mediocre and that other Home Alone dude indescribable... She has always been an amazingly underestimated actor. This is sexism.

I think it's a compliment to say that someone in general isn't fantastic but here she's really very good.
Just brilliant film with intriguing story line and great acting. They mixed Comedy, Drama, Romance and Fantasy perfectly. Bill Murray shines here. Andie MacDowell was impressive too. The whole cast was great. I miss the 90's so much! They don't make films like this anymore
