Building a second garden is a win/win situation. The groundhogs get the food they need, and the humans get a huge amount of entertainment from watching the little fellows munch their veggies. Watching an animal eat happily is very calming and very satisfying.

​​@@garcialopez1369 Who's land and the right of conquest has existed since the dawn of man there isn't a single nation that exists that at one point was ruled or controlled by other group's that got wiped out or conquered it's only today that we don't generally accept or practice conquest anymore and it was the Europeans who started that trend by giving back land and relinquishing their empire's due to their morale and spiritual beliefs and going around the world ending the legal slave trade.

That's incredible compassion. Many people would have treated them like vermin and trap them, but you chose to give them a home instead of taking their life away, that's what a real man does.

This reminds me of the movie The Great Outdoors. Each day, John Candy would return to his cabin to find the raccoons had knocked over and eaten his garbage. No matter what he tried, he couldn't OUTSMART the hungry animals either!
