While I like the idea of ng+ and I think its for the most part, well implemented. the fact that it requires 3 whole cycles of ng+ to unlock what are essentially reskins of existing weapons, just with different elemental damage types is ridiculous, because most people who are even considering ng+ will likely only get to max ng+2 to see the infected ants. when they do patches, the first thing they should do is split the new weapons between ng+ and ng+2, not ng+, ng+2, and ng+3, and infused weapons should unlock by ng+3.

I love the ideas here that they have. There's just a lot of balancing issues. Tier 4 weapons are cool, but no one is going to use a trident, no matter what is on it. Infused Tier 3 weapons would have been better. We need ways to upgrade armor as well. Telepotties being in NG +2 is dumb. And theres really no point in going past NG +2 if all you want is telepotties and reskinned elemental axes.

All tier 4 infused weapons of that type are the same, only the model changes, for example a tier 4 infused pebblet dagger does the same damage, stun, and speed as an infused widow dagger

Yeah i want to go to the next new game to get the new stuff but the molar grind is so annoying especially when the scanner works in such a low range

Minecraft crossplay on the Switch(which also requires a Microsoft account) is notoriously buggy, so I'm not surprised Grounded is suffering from this issue

I mean, its a nice feature, but theres a reason most developers don't add crossplay to their games. its a pain in the ass to create and more often then not has more bugs then a Bethesda rpg.

The switch shouldn't get most games to begin with. It's a compact WiiU/3DS hybrid, with the power being sacrificed for the sake of size meaning you lose a TON of detail when playing ported games that even decent PCs struggle to handle above lowest settings. And with Nintendo being as notorious for being a douche as they are ofc there's gonna be problems

My son plays Minecraft on his switch with us on my world and has no issues maybe it’s the console that’s being played on that’s having the issue not the game itself just a thought

100,000 for a set telepotties that you cant use till NG+ 2. A lot of people will prolly be checked out before then so why. I do wish theyd make the aviable before ng+ 2 at least

I think they are just meant for people that want to play late game, and ziplines are more then suitable for the people that don’t want to put in the work. Telepotties could be put in NG+ 1 though…

Nah, getting to NG+2 doesn't really take much. Super worth though because you are missing out on alot of stuff in the early NG+. Like in NG+1 I don't think you can get science cone trinkets.

I was blown away by all the little changes all over the yard. Way more was changed/added then i was expecting. I hadnt played aince just after the superduper update. Lovin it on the ps5.

Has anyoneeeeee had a milk molar spawn in the HOSE? Not house the hose by the trash heap, i slightly glitched into the hose and I see the milk molars inside of it but you cannot get in there how tffff does this even happen

I am disappointed in this update. The new weapons are to similar to the old ones. Im not playing to new game plus 4. My son and i have been playing since early release and we have replayed the game so many times each update. It is still our fav game. But I feel like there are so many new weapons and bugs they could add. I was always annoyed of 3 types of ants, 2 mosquitos, 2 larva, etc.

The game's been out for years man, they've done ENOUGH they want to move on and do new games; the game was/is great and they did a great job. One of my favorite games I've played in a long time. I play it every sunday with my girl.

The update for fixing the Nintendo Switch cross-play is fix of 04/18/2024. but there's still a problem for me i know anyone else's don't know it keeps crashing every few seconds and just getting annoying now....

I agree the teleporters should be available sooner in fact I would almost argue they should be available when someone first starts playing the game. The reason for this is quite simple if you get the teleporters after you’ve already built your world with zip lines going everywhere and then you get the teleporters you’re going to have to clean up all that mess of zip lines going everywhere. It would be much better if the teleporters were available at the same time as zip lines. I fully agree it is far too expensive to purchase the teleporters we should be able to craft them instead and last but not least the fact that you cannot put a title or a label to the teleporter is a serious shortcoming. All you get to see is the channel that the teleporter is using also you have no choice but to build a large teleporter room in a central base somewhere to be able to teleport around the world. I know the game plays fairly well on Xbox series X, but the problem with their current design is that it forces the player to build even more items into their world which will put a limitation or a strain on the game and the system it plays on, especially the switch. If they gave us an ability to label our teleporters and then simply step into the teleporter while looking for a list the names we provided, it would be far better, this assumes the names we gave the teleporters matches location or destinations we want to go to. As of right now, the way I understand it, each teleporter gets a channel number that you get to choose. However, if you change the channel number at a base let’s call it the hedge then you’ve broken the connection from the original location back to the hedge, which means you have to walk back to the hedge and change the number back to its original number and also keep a list on a mobile device telling you which channel relates to the location on your map. So far what I’ve done is created a large teleporter room with three different teleporters each one has their own channel 1,2,3 then I have a teleporter on the other side matching those channel numbers which allows me to teleport around my world fairly effectively, but like I said first of all it’s very expensive second of all it requires a lot of extra building in the game, considering they have a total of 100 channels this tells me I could have 100 teleporter pairs acting as a method of getting around the world, this means I had to build a pretty large teleporter room and I may end up building a second floor. Hopefully they can fix this in the future.

I also agree there’s a lot of new trinkets which is kind of cool, but what’s the point when you can only equip one at a time?!

They get random effects. I've gotten stuff from +damage to broodmother or mantis to the arrow refund from the queen wasp trinket. I've heard they can have more than one eventually too so it's like having more than one equipped. The lab chips give trinkets too. The hedge one gave me complete immunity to fall damage and something else I don't remember. The parry heal omnent badge had an extra perk too. Hyperstamina for me. Not sure if it's random

@@darkdraco02 oh yeah for sure, I hear you, but my point is, with all of those affects, we only have room for one trinket to be active, furthermore it’s not like we have a lot of room to store them on our character’s inventory when running around the map. So the problem is we could be running around the map and we could very well not have the correct trinket to fit the need at the time. All I’m saying is the way they designed the game, it’s like you the player are supposed to be psychic and predetermine the charms you will need at any given time. From a GUI perspective there’s lot of screen space to have more trinket slots, heck they could create a trinkets tab just like the mutations tab, to allow players to equip more than one trinket. Oh well, the game overall is good, but this has been a frustration of mine since 1.0 when I started playing. I’ve also wondered why are we limited to 5 active mutations and 1 trinket slot, that’s another “advanced” NG+ thing they could’ve built in to this “big update”, more active mutations, unlocked, which would give people who have finished the game, more to do. @@bubbaganoosh814 oh. Yeah that makes sense. I just throw them all in my ant. Same with uprgade stones. Still fill up my inventory. Might have to make a pinecone chest and drag it with me via relocate. And I do think it's dumb that we can't buy at least another 3 to 5 mutation slots with the new milk molars so we have 8 or 10. Oh well.

Someone on Reddit said the switch is "fixed" but the patch is in Nintendos approval path

My first Compliance badge had a modifier that counteracts the negative. Parry Heal and Resistance Down, and the remixed effect of Resistance Up.

So I shared my world with a friend and he went to NG+ while I was offline, when I rejoin and go to use milk molars my stats don't show the baseline from before NG+ like they do for him. For example his HP when going to spend molars says 105 + 30 but mine just says + 30. Do you know if the stats are carried over for other players in multiplayer and it just doesn't show or am I screwed with much less hp?

This just happened to me on my friends server! We collected all milk molars on first play through then when he yoked and we went NG+1 all my stats went back to the start and he kept his, its killed my play through did you find a solution?

Another issue. For some reason, playstation people need to join crossplay worlds AFTER people on pc and xbox. For some reason, if the playstation person is there first, pc and xbox players get an error preventing them from joining

I try to play grounded with friend im on pc and he is on xbox, and whoever host the server is fine, but the joining player is Dcing after 5 minutes, all the time... its so annoying

Another issue. I linked me playstation account to crossplay and i lost ALL my character progress on all my worlds. World progress was untouched but having to refarm all those mutations takes a while

you need to farm the food, its very unlikely if you dont and takes alot of time for the food to just despawn and potentially spawn back as an egg.

@@hansethetooly5421 only the regular food works, rotten ones in the trash area can’t spawn the eggs. But they aren’t the highest chance of spawning. You’ll get one!

Kinda wish the amount of telepotties was limiters to how many NG+ not hidden away to NG+2. Allowing a small handful late game would completely change late game bases but putting it behind NG+2 will discourage this.

I just want to be able to play my world on my switch. Don't care about the multiplayer.

Grounded on PS5 made me realize how dog poo Xbox's controller truly is. On Xbox I had to play with the deadzones and sensitivity to make it feel like I wasn't heavy as hell, on the PS5, I've been fast AF with just the default controller settings. Also, is there any idea or news about what the max NG+ level is? I would love to play this like DS where I'm on NG+ 20.

Batman Arkham Knight, Dying Light, Doom 2016, to name a few. yeah it was kinda an odd choice to put grounded on a much weaker console, but its the developers job to make sure the game works, and i garuntee you wouldn't be saying "who cares" if grounded was having the same issues on whichever platform you choose to play it on.

I hope Nintendo decides to make a powerful console for the next gen. I mean it’s archaic at this point. There are some miracles that have occurred on the switch though. I could not believe they were able to port no man’s sky over to switch! But yeah they need something more powerful.

Please let the developers know this milk molar spawned in a part of the map you can’t access, the hose is not a playable area this is so stupid
