I was saving like crazy every time I made a successful jump, lol. Damn you devs! 😀 The way out was actually quite easy for me. But yeah, doing upper yard stuff gives you post-traumatic stress disorder.

I was lucky having already been through the satan-made ending of Raft, but this still gave me a challenge and PTSD combined.

I struggled to finish the game & not because it was difficult. This lab & the undershed really left me wanting a better version of both. Glad it helped!

OK, it's worth mentioning that it will be very useful to bring a torch with you, as it's quite dark in places.

3:31 Honestly, I went in and looked everywhere for potential loot, and I have stood at this place but I just didn't see that recepy! It also just looks like the regular files that you can not pick up..

that last root i tried it for ages and i didn't even knew if that was the out anyways. in any case, couldn't get on there for the life of me, until i watched your video, i then switched from 1st person mode to 3rd person and made it first try. -.- that lab is easily the worst part of the whole game.

Man I hate the lad so much jumping but I mixed with the parkour I hate it but like it as the same time it makes you use your brain a bit more then just fighting take me a hour to get out my torch broke as I was at the end as always another grate video to help

Thanks that was very helpful. Those ziplines you used, can you build a zipline anywhere or does it have to be a specific place the game dictates to build them like on the picnic table to the sandbox?

Absolutely! Now that to both ways once you unlock the mechanism.

They have changed so much since then and this is the part, I cannot get pass no matter how hard I try, and I get glitched on the one root in front of the computer especially since it's now literally under the computer and right at the first root and not in the middle of the floor like on yours.

I made it here in spider armor and a bone trident. I made it thru the lab but realized there are wolf spiderS standing outside the freaking exit of the hole. I mean I could take it if it were just 1 of em.. but 3 of them chased me into the dang lab to begin with. I was hoping yu would tel me how many there are, I guess this is something I find out the hard way

I want to like this game, but the pathing is terrible. The Hedge, Undershed Abyss, and this lab have frustratingly bad areas to traverse, even after I know the ways I'm supposed to go. Thanks for the help!

Absolutely! It can be frustrating at times & it does take some of the fun out of the game, in my opinion, but you either frustratingly go forward or just stop for a bit.

I watched your video on the assistant manager recommending the red ant club, but I tried the Antilion Greatsword and it smashed him well quick, it only took two attempts the first was my own greedy stupidity getting me killed.

Definitely easier if you go to the sandbox first, but in terms of playthroughs, most won't do that.

Exploring does have its perks in Grounded!

Wonder what would happen if you threw some grass planks down into that lab and made half floors maybe it could be used to get through some of the hard spots? Just an idea. Don’t know if it would work ..I’m not gonna try it I’m not going anywhere near that base again lol.

Parkour in a game not made for parkour is terrible and this proves it

Just seems like they ran out of ideas honestly.

This level is horribly designed. I haven’t seen such a bad platforming sequence since early 3d games. 25 years of level design solutions completely ignored. If the idea is to make a very hard climbing sequence, they could at least add a water container on the place.

There's variety in other ways. Blindly jumping aroind isn't variety, it's a tedious addition to make the game "seem" longer & more difficult. Most of the jumping areas are actually pretty easy & straightforward, but the upper yard, it just seems like they ran out of ideas & just threw it in there for shits & giggles.
