I think they need to fix the issue where you can't discover juice boxes or locations when you get there. I stared at an undiscovered juice box for 20 minutes and it never discovered it. Kinda hard to 100% the game if it doesn't let you.

yeah facts there was a juice box i ran past maybe close to 100 times and there was one time i walked past it with no stamina and it only registered then that i never discovered it.

I am a bit confused at the lack of Salt Weapons. In some cases we get multiple of the same element and damage type like 2 different sour and fresh swords… and then get a single random busting salt weapon? Just such an odd thing to put into the final content update.

If they just added a salt axe I'd be happy but yeah, more salt weapons of any type are needed as many of the hardest enemies have salt weakness.

Some of these may be glitches [the casting time reduction increasing time for example] but this honestly feels a lot more like they wanted NG+ to be a super hardcore mode, and that didn't land well

Honestly they should’ve kept the thorns for funsies. Busted like crazy but hey, what’s a game without a wack build that demolishes.

@@GarbajeCan Looks like it's just halved damage, so doesn't completely made the thorns summon build useless just takes a little longer. Plus thorns now doing 'true damage' means that all the damage reduction stuff that the bosses can get won't lower the output the build has. The nerf and buff together may not hamper the effectiveness.

Considering it was super easy to oneshot yourself if you hit your summons it wasn't that busted. A fair trade. High risk for high rewards

My biggest issue is science cone grinding as there's no way to guarantee a certain combination after a certain amount of time. Its pretty easy to get an alright or even a decent trinket but getting a perfect trinket is almost impossible with too many junk effects, no rerolls, and no way combine them.

That's normal though, incredibly normal. If you've never played a game where you need to farm an item in a loot pool for a particular set of attributes or qualities then you're gonna learn this can take thousands of attempts even IF rerolling was added as a feature and not a bug you'd still be spending millions of raw science for hundreds of rerolls only to save scum when you didn't get what you want.

I fought really hard to save the fist build (I made the suggestion to the Dev's to buff it with finale effects) and I'm SO EXCITED to see they took feedback seriously!

Love that you can dupe at any outpost and you can skip animation. Way faster to create more health potions

They still really need to sort out wasp raids in ng+

I second this. I've watched one of CDiinky's livestreams and he got raided by wasps. One infused wasp did an attack that destroyed almost half of his base, and I'm over here thinking "This game can't be real about this".

*Happy were moving in the right direction givem another month to sort the rest out i am hoping this will turn into update 1.5 the final update with a tiny bit more added to the game*

really did like that they made it where movement speed on infused stuff is 25% instead of 10%, i also like how weapons can 2 different things, because im gonna make my friends club have 50% more resistance & lifesteal, which is a very good combo

So the Thorns summoner build due to Thorns doing true damage, got got more of a balance change than a nerf, which after using it myself after the balance changes is still super op.

Since today i‘m for some reason not able to place anything in my base. I can place and move stuff around everywhere else, but cant do anything in the area of my base. Does anyone know a solution or has the Same Problem?

If I'm not mistaken, I know it's not what it was before, but it sounds like they fixed the lil fist build and made it possibly viable again...ima tinker with that, was by far my favorite build in game lol ... im sad about ant summon thorns build, I literally just made it last night lol haven't had time to test it out, I brought it in for director smecter but it was entirely useless lol he doesn't attack them at all lol

I’m not sure if this if a glitch with the most recent update , but when I’m trying to relocate any item in the game , it doesn’t let me place it. It’s not like I’m trying to place it on something it shouldn’t be , it’s just for some reason the game will not let me relocate items

I didn't have too much trouble with HB on NG+2, it's the mantis fight that's the pain the ass to deal with. The second mini mantis that gets summoned hits almost as hard as the big one, out of everything they should've nerfed the little one's damage by 50%. However now that the constant effects have been diminished I'll test out how hard the fight will still be after this new update.

The biggest issue is the Playstation bug where i can no longer save anymore because auto save and manual save just gives a save error so I've had to go back to pc

I don't think all those buffs to random trinket perks was a bug, they simply shipped it as balanced as possible so they could tweak it over time

Can anyone confirm if the invulnerable bug fix is also for raids ?

What is good with pinch wacker? I mean armor, mutations and trinkets

yeah, ALL bosses that can drop important stuff should be killable as many times as we want IMO.

I was building on the oak tree but it's basically been ruined now since it just keeps saying unable to build yet the day before the update it worked so I've wasted like 12hrs to this new *update*

Most of these changes seem great. The dev are good at making fun and interesting games. After they are done with grounded I look forward to seeing what they make next.

I havent watched the whole video yet but they made it so that you can put many chests next to each other so more than four chests per tile its really nice

I still feel like we really need to have a way to get particular effects onto particular trinkets/weapons. Maybe give the ability to break cones down into crinkles, and let us use crinkles to apply effects onto weapons at the cost of science or duper jelly... or let us combine crinkles to get cones with the exact effects we are looking for. You would still have to farm for them a fair bit, but this way there is an 'end goal' of a perfect piece.

I think that in the Hedge Broodmother fight they should fix your summons usually prioritizing the Web Sacs over the Hedge Broodmother and her adds. This is very infuriating, even before Super Toasting the yard (That’s what I call Nee Game+ing.)!

I think this has been in the game for a while, but never touched or pointed out.

Software quality assurance person here, I think you hit the nail on the head when you said it wasn’t tested. That being said, software development and QA are very different. The best dev can be the worst QA person and vice versa. For example just because something “behaves as designed” does not mean it’s designed well. Sounds straight forward until you see how any idea/design/tool is used in ways you didn’t plan for. My two cents and guess based on the looks of the patches is this Last patch: most critical and affecting new player experience. Therefore highest priority. This patch: address new game plus issues for the existing and returning players. Second priority possibly due to player size or the number of people affected in comparison to the last point. Future: suggestions from community and other ideas they already had brewing. This is a smaller team so having those priorities and shifting from fixes to implementing and testing those implementations takes time. I do wish some of this was better tested before launch but I’m hopeful based on how receptive the devs are being. The feedback is important though and I hope it keeps the community alive and positive so we can all have the best game possible.

Since the update I can't build on the toy bin in the front corner near the javamatic...was half way done building a dinner hall for my build and now if it's on lock to grid it says location obstructed. Guess I'm waiting till the next update where it goes back and I can finish it lol

I would image the comments already covered this but what about the revenge of the wasps because I kept doing the waft admiter and they just kept coming back and no I’m not killing wasps every time I just really don’t care about there gold card because they are consider a nuisance too me and I lose to many heals to wasps drones so did this update fix that bug or not because I’m not sure

I was so hoping they would tweak the milk molars for multiplayer because I play with someone else and they have been on the road working since 1.4 so they haven't played at all and I currently in ng+4 in our playthrough so she was going to miss out on three playthroughs worth of milk molar upgrades

Ehhhhh nah. Im still not updating. Maybe if they brought back rerolling trinkets. The ibm is unfairly hard with the screams but if i can suffer through it for 3 more ng+ i can get and reroll infused wrapons. ..if i can make it

before you infuse a weapon or anything else with raw science go ahead & save game then infuse 1 item & check what it has, if it has what you want then save game & infuse another item & repeat steps but if the item you infuse with raw science doesnt have what you want then just go back to a old save obviously this is smart but can cost you alot of time up to 1 hour or more to get everything you want, depending on how many things your gonna infuse with raw science

I’m always so excited to get home from work to play my NG+ world but I don’t have any motivation to just grind only raw science from looking for infused creatures I feel like they don’t spawn as much as they should and when I do see them it’s only 1 every like 10-15 minutes and I don’t wanna just sit at a mixer and do it over and over breaking it at the end that’s so boring

Ant hills and termite den are the best bet. If not that then the next best thing is killing a stupid amount of bosses which gives ooze for fusion crystals and raw science. A good two handed axe build on the mantis is the quickest after a bit of practice though that strategy has been a bit nerfed now.

You can get the Sausager in ng1, and right of the start of it, you can get the ant ambassader level 3 too. You just need to ifnerst the red ant queen in the base run, and befriend the other twqo, then at the start of the ng+ you can give the respective food to the red and fire ant queen, and you get both the new recepts, and the full mutation. That's what I did.

It would be nive to be able to reroll a trinket, keep 1 attribute and reroll the others. At least you would have a better chance of getting a real good trinket.

Someone had the idea of adding in another Trinket it for like 10 milk molars I think that is a fantastic idea, and honestly would like to see it in the game

Infused weapons have 2 infusions is good, but still sad bcz of the removal of duping them for new infusions.

Not gonna lie I've been taking it nice and slow on my current playthrough before I get into NG+. Stocking up supplies and upgrades and making a sweet base. Just have the wasp queen and the javamatic left 😈

What is tenderfoot?

They should make an item, maybe name it "defuser gem", craftable by using boss infused ooze only, which can be used to extract a chosen effect from a trinket or weapon. This extracted effect can then be implanted on to a weapon or trinket, replacing a chosen effect. Sounds OP, but it is better and more skill based than reloading or farming until you get the desired effect. Or, we'll, they could reinstate the randomized effects upon duping, but I would prefer my solution.

yeah you have to go in ng+ anyways so you can get the ant gold card that way

I hate having to beat the game so many times just to get the new good weapons.

They need to remove pet hitboxes. I hate building something and have my pet ant boot me off when I am 30 tiles up.

I'm on Ng+ 62 I'm insane I used waft emitter a lot and I swear to God the invulnerable bugs was so annoying it was the worst emitter bug to exist pun intended I got so annoyed at fighting the regular broodmother because of that glitch I literally grabbed every single one of my heads which is quite literally seven chests full for each head had crafted so many moldy hoagies so I have a bit more trinkets and then I think I need but my setup is quite literally cheesing everything with summons Stun major 😅 And Summons stun major 😂 And Summons stun major🤣 I know it's a glitch to get major for all three pieces but damn is a powerful with that stupid electric staff I just tore through everything because it hits multiple times I swear everything is so much easier with someone's doing a summoning stunning build

You shouldn't be able to get ranged perks on melee and vice versa

So of us are scared because we found a glitch and hoping it don't get patched

I want boss balancing in new game plus, the bosses are really easy in the first run through but new game plus makes it feel like dark souls or elden ring, I don’t know about others but I play grounded to get away from them games not to play them in a different art style, I do still enjoy the game but it’s getting boring cos it’s blocking progress from the other new game + and I’m a casual player and not a sweat

I've lost all my progress after the update, it spawned me in the kids case, with the stuff I had after remixing the garden. all new weapons gone. And the hours of grinding ooze gone. That's just sad, I'm gonna go and touch some grass, goodbye grounded

Invincible bugs during raids are killing my will to play the game....

For me personally, the upvote system for Playground is a massive win! Downvote wasn't necessary. Hopefully people will appreciate Playground mode a bit more now you can filter out some of the junk. As for NG+, still no real incentive to progress past NG+4 if there is nothing more to achieve.
