I did try my best to do air to ground but MiGs are a thing... Massive fan of the Zunis, can kill multiple ground units with them and they are very simple to use.

Been flying the A-4 for a year and can absolutely say it's a joy to fly!

I need to get a HOTAS and IR Head Tracking at some point, been flying the A-4 on Mouse and Keyboard, looking around using the Numpad for too long

The computer for auto dropping the bombs on a point you select with the hud was mainly designed to work with the mk 82/83, so I've found that rockeye tends to fall short of where you aimed. Also nice to know that an A-4 can kill a mig 21, I can't even beat the ai!

That is interesting, recently tried the S-13s on the frog with the new script and they are vile. Should imagine the Zunis got a similar treatment.

@@ttpechon2535 Unless they've made improvements, the AI in DCS is pretty OP in certain respects. I think it might depend on the module in question, but even after v2.8 a lot of people complain that AI pilots retain ridiculous amounts of energy. I guess this is less about the pure "AI" and more due to a simplified flight model that the AI uses... but the effect experienced by the human pilots is the same.

I can’t be sure but I feel like you’re not messing with the trim at all in this fight It moves the whole horizontal stab like the 109 So use the trim instead of the flaps to tighten the turn (the flaps are drag monsters)

@@Joemate23 I couldn't be sure because maybe you were just energy fighting but it's a whole different plane when you realise how the trim works. Anything over 6 bleeds speed pretty hard though!
Don't chop throttle to decelerate, pop speed brakes, instead. It takes time for your engine to spool up to full throttle, but you accelerate instantaneously when you close the brakes.

I cut throttle and used speed brakes, I couldn’t nail the second one with an aim 9 as he went behind a mountain and I only had aim9bs

@@Joemate23 You must have had a ton of overtake. A high-G barrel roll also helps dump speed in a hurry without throttling down. As for the -9Bs, I take your point. You'd have as much luck shooting him with your Zunis (which, by the way, is how an Israeli Skyhawk nailed a MiG).
Damn Shilkas always ruin a good thing. happens in my hog all the time
