Useless fact : just months ago the sound designer worked at ground branch moved to mw22 , the sounds you heard from mw22 are from him (you can notice a slight similarity in gun sounds)

Sound is so realistic, unlike the other games that reload sound is louder than fire sound.
Great animations, i hope they end up in a game one day.
I dont like what they did to the sounds of the AKs, they don't have much of a punch really, and the little punch that it does have feels weak, and muffled, other guns I don't really see as upgrades either.

Same feeling here, the AKM sound should override the rest. It actually sounds powerful.

This is a real life style game, where you play a trained professional that knows how to control their guns. Not csgo where your gun goes up into the sky like a beginner shooting a gun for the first time.

Horrible fov. At least should have put it back to 90 for showing off all the guns and their optic fov.
I'm sorry, but these gun sounds are horrible. Not even close to what they sound like in real life. They lack the thump and just how loud it really is (even with ear pros on). I hope they seriously revamp their sound design in the future.

But to what you believe these are what guns actually sounds like and the game used real recorded gunshots Because you are the person shooting not all of the elements of a fully constructed gunshot are heard , go to the left the sounds are different , go to the right it sounds different . The game puts all of those elements into one

@@steveman0420 thank you for the thoughtful and detailed response. My initial comment was a little harsh and not detailed, so let me further explain in a more constructive way. Yes, this game may have recorded real gun sounds, but that doesn't mean they were recorded correctly, edited in correctly, or sound levels mixed correctly. In real life, gunshots are very loud (captain obvious here) with a big booming effect, and bigger as you go up in the caliber size. Of course, video games don't go this loud because they want to make things more "comfortable" for the average player who isn't an avid shooter. On a regular 9mm handgun it's loud, but going to a 5.56 (like an AR-15) you can physically feel the repercussion, especially if it has a muzzle break. All gunshots are loud and none of them sound even remotely close to an airsoft gun (unless you're running subsonic .22LR with a suppressor). I state all of that because in-game, as of now, the pistols sound straight up like a GBB airsoft gun. I know because I used to play with these. While the AR's are hit or miss. Indoors, they sound muted while outside it's a little closer to the real thing with the reverb. If they were to correct this for someone as picky as I am, I'd say they need to turn the gunshots much louder, re-record the sounds because they need to go BOOM with bass, and add more repercussion effects. For comparison, Ready or Not is a fantastic example of what's closer to real life - in your face and loud. Not perfect, but much closer to being correct than what Ground Branch has. With that said, I still enjoy playing Ground Branch for the sandbox factor. I'm a bit of an audio snob when it comes to gun accuracy in games, so to the 99%, probably not as important nor do they realize the differences to real life.
