Consult the former PAYDAY 2 Animator's channel 'Niphen Niphen' and they can *show* you (At least for what work he did before moving onto Second Extinction and then Ravenbound after it).

Wish they got a former payday 2 weapon modeler too. The base game weapons look alright but nearly all dlc weapons look shockingly bad.

Not even 30 seconds into the video I immediately searched for PD2's weapons animations because I thought I spotted a direct copy & paste, just to scroll down and see your comment lol. It really does have a look to it that's super recognizable. It's something about when he hits the slide on the pistol, he sorts of jerks the gun forwards. I've never really seen that anywhere else except PD2

That seems like a very uncomfortable way to reload a SPAS-12.

You can clearly see that some of these weapons share models with TheHunter Call of the Wild. The .44 magnum noticably.

@@Ramlin1210 I don't think it's the exact same developer, though I know that they are connected in some way I don't quite understand from my research. Also, it is the exact same engine, and if rumours are to be believed, Generation Zero was made as basically almost an engine testing ground for CotW for things like "persistent enemies" and such. So with all that in mind, it's definitely not surprising that they share some models

The semi-obscure set of weapons + the experimental versions really makes for a cool loadout

Interesting to see tactical weapons with Thehunter styling

FYI, flicking your revolver shut is fine. Even if by some chance you manage to damage your revolver to the point it needs repairs, it's not like a gun that's been around since 1831 is hard to fix. In fact it's actually pretty easy to make your own revolver parts.

I don’t know why SO MANY PEOPLE are complaining about “the weapons animations are bad” or “Why is [inset gun name here] doing in Sweden” or “the weapon names are wrong” like it’s a game, GET OVER IT!!!!

Regarding the Kvm 89/M249, the bolt doesn't HAVE to be locked back when opening the feed tray cover, the bolt roller will be pressed down by the feed lever, and spring back into place once aligned with the track of the feed lever. Closing the feed tray cover might take a little more effort with having to push the bolt roller down, and aligning the feed pawls at the same time. Same applies to the Kvm 59/ M240/ FN MAG

Probably diesnt matter, but a majority of the mags dont have bullets in them when loaded, so thats fun once you notice :]

These animations looks soo top tier man, surely one of the best animations on FPS games so far

for mosin nagant: you have to pull the empty stripper clip out, it does not work like a mauser

Experimental Granatgevar m/49 shoots the first case when the second grenade is launched. That's why only one is ejected during the full reload.

Ahh yes, a game with a lot of DLC weapons, all of which will become unobtainable once: A. The game gets delisted from sale and the servers shut down! or B. The online stores that sell said game and DLC shut down! (Like what Nintendo did to the 3DS and Wii U Eshop and what Microsoft will do to the XBOX 360 Marketplace by the end of the month at time of saying this) Gotta love the always online, all-digital gaming future!

They've added a shit ton of dlcs and not much else. Unless you weren't around for base building and vehicles

@@Glenn_Quagmire I remember the base building and vehicles. The last I rembember were NPC Quest givers which I feel like ruined the tension, horror, and especially the isolation in the game. I always played solo and liked that there was not a living soul on the island. Each place you went to looked like the people just left. That was pretty cool.

They're free stock sounds. Both games use the same stock sounds.

Skorpion one looks like they were bored to make it look like more interesting, so they did a quick animation about it.

How payday 3’s reloads should’ve been

Before you get mad at me for pointing out the obvious, I am not here to nitpick on the game for its horrible models nor animations. - 0:03 Volkov’s Magazine Release wasn’t engaged - 0:18 Bullets cannot drop without using the extractor

You can nitpick it's horrible models. Everybody knows the game has bad weapon models. I remember buying the US weapons pack and never using the m16 because it looks so terrible.

To be fair the Automatgevär 4 and 5 are actual destinations for Guns in the Swedish Military, the 4 being a G3 and the 5 being a licensed clone of the FN FNC

I love them. I love silly fake gun names. Even came with some myself. "Belladonna Mil-9" M9 "Penrose Magpie 200EL" Chiappa Rhino 200DS "Gaston" Glocks "Cobra 1911 (C1911)" M1911 "Touro Mad Dog" Raging Bull and a lot more that I should put in a txt file

Rather inconsistent stuff here. Seems like animators got switched halfway through? Certain reloads look quite good, like the AK and the Carl Gustav one, and then there's the SPAS which looks unfinished lol

God, both the models and animations are just......Gross to look at

3:35 it's to simplify animations, since if it doesn't, you have to make an animation for every slot, by spinning, the next slot is in the same position as the previous, allowing to use just one

All non dlc guns have amazing reloads, but the dlc ones are pretty robotic and lack luster

its modelled like that for two reasons, the first being alternative timeline/universe stuff, the second being stylization. the m16 is kinda ugly tho

@@pinapplecheesecake4211 dont know about stylizing, a lot of guns are stylized for alternate design but they still retain a lot of details of the real one, the M16 is just a rectangle which looks weird, it needs more geometry
