Hi Rachel, The family loved this casserole! I never have left overs! I want left overs however my entire family wants seconds and even third helpings! You are such a wonderful chef. These casseroles are out of this world! I made your Shepards Pie the other night and never saw a leftover! Thank you so much for sharing your recipes with us. I made this today and it was delish😊 I didn’t have tomatoes or green/orange peppers so I used salsa and a small can of drained green chilies. I cut back on the cheese too. I made a small ring of salsa on top in place of tomatoes. This dish is delicious. Thank you, Rachel , for sharing your love of cooking💗

It was a hit! I had to control the amount of cheese…I made it for my elderly aunt and uncle who are 90 and 95 and they loved it! Awe Rachel, I want to come live with you!!! My body doesn't tolerate any carbs, including all veggies, but I cheat maybe once a month with my favorite carbs. You have expanded my fav list, so my monthly cheat will definitely be one of your recipes for a long time coming. Now, my biggest issue is which of your totally awesome recipes to make on my cheat day. It's my belief that someone who loves to cook and break bread with others has such a brilliant light soul and beautiful heart. Food is so essential to life. Old Man Ed here, made this for Saturday nights supper. Went with 1lb. hamburger & 1/2 lb. sausage plus small bag of mixed vegetables and followed the balance of the recipe. It's was absolutely delicious and again my Wife said, it's a keeper! Thank you so much!!👍
