Hi Ed, part of the fun of modeling is scratch building. If a part is really bad, there is usually a way of fixing it if you want to take the time. The worst kit I ever built was the Roden Holt Artillery Tractor. It turned out nice, but I had to rework pretty much every part in the kit. I think part of it may be because it was originally an extra/optional body that came with the Grant King sprint car
