Wow thanks so much for this video, I have been using the blueberry scrub for a while but I'm inspired by the other steps you follow and have gone about getting the other items you feature. Your dogs look great! Are you a professional groomer or is it all just baby love? You have amazing cuts for your dogs, my baby has a long show coat but if I knew someone who could do what you do I would surely have her cut. I've had so so many problems with groomers not quite knowing what to do with a show dog quality Maltese but recently I have found someone who knows what she's doing (took me almost 2 years to find her!!). Thanks again and please continue making these informative and helpful videos.

Helo! Thank you so much for your input on the butler shein. It is great with my Maltese. I love your facial in between baths I use pure paws, do you now prefer show premium? If so, may I ask why? Also, I would love to do a facial too. Would you recommend tropiclean facial scrub? If so, then I would do a facial with tropiclean, reconstructing shampoo, reconstructing conditioner, butler shein, and end it with a dry. Thank you so much.

We are currently testing the SLS free line that was recently released by Pure Paws and are finding wonderful results with the SHINE shampoo and the White shampoo from the SLS free line of Pure Paws. We do enjoy SHOW Premium products for the beard, as it cleans nicely and we love the shine and the wonderful smell of the SHOW line, but do not typically bath the dogs with it. Our #1 is Pure Paws and #2 is Show Premium as our favorites, while we are constantly testing out other lines as well! Thank you for visiting and Happy Grooming!!!

Cynthia Figueroa-Aguirre Our GOTO for the face and eye area is the Spa Lavish Blueberry Facial Cleanser by Tropiclean === but this can be very drying so we like to follow with a nourishing cleanser and always condition as well. WE have used the SHOW Moisture Unleashed, but we are currently just starting testing on using the Pure Paws SLS line. We can't go as close to the eyes with either of these, whereby we can go closer to the eyes with the Blueberry facial. The Spa Lavish Blueberry followed up with a conditioner is also good if you are working gout stains.

What’s the name of that line of shampoo?

My maltese boy is a mess! It's a struggle to get him to wear clothes. He usually is in the nude except his collar & harness. We recently changed his dog food & his tear stains are gone! It's wonderful :-). Love your videos & photos on IG

Karen Abron I give him more dry & the can is more like a gravy. I've read & heard to feed only dry & give can food once in a while. When I look at his face I think just a little bit of can food can't hurt ;-)

When did you start growing their coats out? I have him in a puppy cut now because of potty training but want a show cut I'm just unsure of when to do do it, do you also straighten their hair? Xoxo

***** for full length you won't want to cut anything beyond feet and hygienic areas == Dolce here has only her torso and feet trimmed. We keep thinking we'll grow her out to full show coat, but never make it ^_^ We straighten using a force dryer after bathing or washing. Congratulations on your new puppy!

My Cassie had tear stains. I began giving her distilled water and grain free food, her stains are now gone. It took a little while. I also cleaned her eye are with the Spa Tropiclean.

Hello! Thank for this video! It was very helpful. I wanted to ask you a few questions: 1. What products do you use to keep your puppies coat white/clean if it's raining outside for multiple days in a week? Do you still take them outside to potty? My puppy takes his time outside, so therefore his coat is dirty and wet when we get back in the house. 2. Do you use spa lavish as a shampoo for the body? Do you follow it up with a conditioner? If yes, which one? 3. Do you prefer Spa Lavish or the Blueberry facial wash to keep your Maltese's faces white/clean? How often do you use the products? 4. What do you recommend to remove yellowing of their feet? 5. How many times a day were you using Butler Schein for tear stain removal? How long did it take before the tear stains disappeared. I know these are a number of questions, but your dogs are beautiful! Your response would be greatly appreciated.

DrDiva16 we never use spa lavish on the body. We spot use it for face stains only. We do mini Paw Spaw's after muddy walks outside where we wash only their feet. At the beach, we use a Rinseless for their feet and towel clean. We always condition after washing (at the very least with a spray leave in conditioner). Our body shampoos are from the PURE PAWS line, and they have products for pee stain. (we cover this a bit in our Rinsefree video). Tear stain removal is a regime whereby times can vary depending on many factors. It took a few months for the girls to get as clean as they are now === past videos will show you. Good luck

Margorie Gutierrez pishpad.com sells the Show Premium We use the PurePaws Reconstructing Shampoo and Conditioner (products that are diluted prior to use, so the bottles last quite a long time). Toplinepet.com also carries some other shampoo products that are decent, as well as carrying brushes, combs and hair accessories at a reasonable price. Good luck and Happy Grooming!

+Vita O'Shea I really enjoy Show products. My absolute favorite line up of products is however Pure Paws. We currently almost rarely use Spa Lavish on our dogs since their faces are pretty cleaned up now. I have the Sensei Swivls and really enjoy them immensely. I would say my favorite shears are Sensei, Chris Christensen & Kenchi. Chris Christensen Merlyn thinners are probably my fav and they are currently on sale at Cherrybrook!

I just ordered the Chris Christensen Merlyn thinners from Cherrybrook. Thanks so much for letting me know that they were on sale. I have tried other Chris Christensen products and they are all wonderful. Eventually I will also try Sensei. I seen them at the All American Grooming show and their scissors seemed like good quality scissors.

+Maltese Obsession thanks for replying. Yeah I had to cut most of the hair on his legs, they badly tangled, I want his hair to grow like Dolce's, but I guess it takes a bigger commitment huh?

I have to bathe my puppy bc she gets so dirty. I just rinse her so I'm not drying out her skin. She is a toy poodle.

How do you get Dolce to sit so still?? My Maltese struggles when I try to clean him.

Shayna Chambers Pure Paws Factor Zero, Pure Paws Reconstructing Line, Pure Paws Amplify are my GO TO GO TO for bathing them in. It keeps them white and clean for weeks and we do not get any mats on their long legs. We currently only use this SHOW on their faces, but Pure Paws just released a SLS free line of NEW products, which is next on my list to review and test for safety and effectiveness around the face ^_^ I buy PURE PAWS by the GALLON!!

Janice Chu Depends on the size of her head/face if you plan on using it to cover her ears during grooming and eating === but at 9# you baby should be a Medium *(^.^)*

Mix 2 large spoons of cornstarch with 1 large spoon of hydrogen peroxide, put directly on the stain with a toothbrush and let dry. Repeat twice a month. It is natural and economical.

I don’t call them boogers I call them Louie gooey eyes but because I only use filtered water for them to drink they never stain. I have had Eight Maltese in the last 42 years and have never had stainingproblems because of the filtered water. These have been from different breeders!

I don't even care. We usually bathe the dogs if the barf pee or get really muddy. #farmersdog

Buy distilled water for white doggies and they will not get stained eyes at ALL!! It will not hurt them!!
