I have to say that’s true. Veggies and fruits in Japan have really good quality 👍

Im not gonna lie, I watch these shopping videos just for the packaging. Japan is realy good at packaging I dont even know what some of the products are but based on packaging I want to buy, very good marketing.

I have watched many of your videos & find them fascinating. Your 2 boys are cuties! I was most impressed by the wide variety of goods in all the places you shop. I love watching your cooking - gave me lots of ideas. What absolutely astounded me was the cleanliness of the shopping baskets!! This is not the case in the US.

In term of fresh veggies, fruits, meat and fish, most are domestic grown 😄

The veggies are beautiful. We find them like that at a Farmers Market. The grocery stores do not have the qualities of Japan’ supermarket

Bean sprouts are so cheap in Japan T-T. They cost around 258 yen in my local store :,( And it's a shame because I love cooking with them! Honestly, I'd love to go shopping in a Japanese supermarket, because I don't like fruits and only really eat veggies, so it'd do wonders for my wallet ahaha XD I love these videos though! They are so relaxing and it is lovely seeing all the new products, or well, products not found in Germany all too often :3 Thank you!

I also would love to try those fat carrots they look so tasty we only have skinny ones and sometimes not to much flavor. Carrots and celery are my favorite veggies. Thanks for you shopping videos

Just did quick conversion and a carton of eggs for you is the equivalent of $1.73 USD!!! They’re $4/carton near me (suburb of Houston, TX)and I simply refuse to pay that much for eggs.

Our eggs here in Mexico are pretty close to the prices in the video. I know the US egg situation is pretty dire.

Hi, I'm in UK and asked the same Q a while ago. It's fermented soybean ( if my memory is correct). I have a specialty warehouse/store near me where I can get japanese, chinese, Korean (and other) ingredients of many varieties but not natto 🤷‍♀️ However, I've seen on ebay/amazon if you're interested in trying 😉

It is a traditional Japanese food made from whole soybeans that have been fermented with Bacillus subtilis var. natto. It is often served as a breakfast food with rice. Natto is often considered an acquired taste because of its powerful smell, strong flavor, and sticky, slimy texture. Not many people accept the taste.

Not all viewers are from USA and it would be difficult to post multiple currencies. I just googled how much ¥100 is roughly it all depends on the exchange rate on the day plus US charges taxes whereas any taxes are included in my country’s prices automatically. I just think it would get complicated and cluttered with all the data lol 😅

@@Me-mj8ni Yen is fluctuating everyday, 2021 was $1 = 110 JPY, and 2022 lowest was $1 = 150 JPY. Now is around 132 JPY. That’s no auto converter in KZread, so it’s better to convert own. Now I think 100JPY is around $0.75
