Grocery Shopping to Stay Lean Year-Round

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I just got back from grocery shopping and decided to share with you what I typically buy.
The way that I eat for years now is, I find HEALTHY foods that I ENJOY eating and I cook these foods in bulk so it lasts at least for 3-4 days.
My go-to at the moment are mushrooms, peppers, and eggs. I eat this combination for about 80% of my meals. If I need to carb up I eat veggies with rice. The other 20% I eat fruit, bread, things that Natalia prepares...
There is no specific reason why I eat peppers and mushrooms. It's just about what I enjoy. Two months ago I ate mostly cauliflower and peppers. The important thing for you to know is just: find healthy foods that you enjoy eating so you can stick to it.

Mike thanks for sharing! Your grocery list is about 80% of what I buy as well 😂 I live alone so I just keep things simple since I’m not a fan of cooking just for myself. And since I work long shifts at the hospital I tend to just pack nuts, blueberries, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Keep it simple so when I do have a date or go out with friends for dinner it can kind of be a “cheat day” for me. Thank you so much for sharing! I appreciate you 🙏🏻🌟❤️

Thank you for sharing this, Mike! About a decade ago I used to follow your six pack shortcut workouts very closely, and they helped me reach my best body weight. Over the years of course I slipped up, but recently I've begun to mix what you taught back then about nutrition with Tom Venuto's own take on nutrition and it has been working. So far in a month's time I've gone down around 8 lbs and dropped 3% body fat. I've got a long road ahead but knowing that one of my role models is still at it and in an even better shape than he used to be really fuels my determination to get it right this time. What do you think of rice loaded up with tons of veggies, and lentils? Also the same veggie loaded rice with lean ground beef. I'm not a big fan of vegetables generally so I'm trying to mix them into other stuff so they go down easily. Also, could you recommend some spices that you like? lately I've found out that spices help a TON in making bland meals taste amazing.

Mushrooms go into almost every meal even into my grilled cheese sandwich or quesadillas. And occasionally when I do eat seafood I smother it with mushrooms. Lol Won’t be buying any bell peppers 🫑 absolutely hate them. 😊 I bake my own bread because I try to avoid sugar as much as possible, and store-bought bread usually has lots of different forms of sugar in it. My bread tastes a 100x better than any store bought bread

I usually bake lots of peppers in the oven and store them in containers. The mushrooms and eggs I usually prepare right before my meal. But storing everything in containers is the way to go! Did that for many years

Okay, eggs 3 times a day. Explain to me how this works? How do you not have any blood pressure/heart issues? I see you being lean and healthy. I can see it. My only question is how do your blood levels look like? That's such an interesting thing a to see that you are lean and healthy like you are with mainly eggs.

I cut the peppers add oil (coconut oil or olive oil), salt and pepper. Bake them on 410 degrees for about 30-40 min. I always make lots, so it lasts for at least 4 days. The eggs and the mushrooms I prepare fresh. Just add them in a fry pan with some oil and season it with salt and pepper. I like to keep it clean and simple.

I want to see mike chang in a movie call it , over under the call. Martial arts man who trains to recover his ancestors scrolls on free flow. Taken by a gang of mercinaries who each have a piece of the scroll. He has to infiltrate each of the sanctums they reside and have a show down with all four of them. One is at the east temple, west temple, south temple and northern temple.
