I felt the same way. Gris Dior just did not do it for me where as Ambre Nuit blew my socks off. If you enjoy Ambre Nuit, you might consider checking out Xerjoff's 40 Knots as they smell fairly similar. Fourty Knots pulled out the rose and made it more acquatic but not your typical acquatic either. I really enjoy having both though. The scent dna is so beautiful. I have both. It does depends what I’m doing. Gris Dior is great for work and Ambre Nuit is a simply wonderful in the autumn and cooler months. I can definitely smell a similarity in DNA between the two. Tobacolor is worth a look too Mikey, bloody love that stuff. Thanks for the vid 🌻🙏🏽

Great review and agree with your take on these two. I was somewhat disappointed Ambre Nuit wasn’t more “ambery” but hey what’s a name. You should try Dior’s Santal Noir. To my nose, one of the better performers (and scent) out of the collection. Cheers!

For me the bergamot ruin gris dior, i wish they put red mandarin or blood orange instead also ambery sandalwood......
