@@TheMissendenFlyer Yes, and a review that was, on the littered with innuendo :). Thanks for the vid though Andy. My hands have been suffering a bit lately and I've been getting pain with the standard BMW grips so I've been thinking about these for my F800GT and wondered about the effectiveness of the heated grips after fitting. So, thanks for that too!

I fit Grip Puppies to all my bikes, and have used them for years. Due to arthritis in both hands, I cannot maintain a firm grip on normal bars, but these grips make all the difference! They also do all the vibe damping stuff as well. I wouldn't be without them! Also, if you sell your bike, they can be removed, using WD40 squirted inside, and then fitted to your new bike. Top bits of kit!

Just put these on my triumph scrambler, used hot water with couple drops of fairy liquid, throttle grip isn't glued on so that side was very difficult to put on. Left side slid on easy. So far so good, feels better for my achey fingers.

I bought a pair of these after seeing your video a few months ago. The heavy clutch on my 2016 Scrambler was making my hand sore. I looked for alternative grips that might have a bit more give than the stock items, but didn't find anything I thought worth trying, until I saw this video. Easy to fit, as you demonstrated. The extra "girth" seemed a bit much to begin with, but now I've ridden a couple of thousand miles with them, I'm happy with them. I don't get the discomfort in my clutch hand any more, and they do seem to reduce vibration too. Thanks for doing the video!

I’ve just fitted these on my MT09. Not that the bike vibrates, it’s really smooth actually, but even though the standard grips are the normal thickness, for some reason they weren’t feeling comfortable at all on longer trips. So I thought I’d give these a go. Fill give them a test tomorrow and see how they fare. A question about winter, do they absorb the rain water?

Hi there, top tip for you viewers. L'Oréal Studio Pro, Lock It, fixing hair spray, ultra strong hair spray. I saw I guy on KZread using this product when like me he need to fit new handle bar grips to his 1150 GS Adventure like mine with heated grips. This is not an easy job because if you are not very careful when removing, it is very easy to cut through the very fine copper strands then it's 'Hasta La Vista' heated grips. The rubber grips are glued on in the factory. This next part is a true story. I dispatched my wife to Superdrug to buy the product. When my wife went to pay at the counter the assistant said "ah, you must be an artist (who use this over the top of paintings) or you need to put new grips on your motorbike". At that point my wife's jaw dropped in disbelief.!!!!!!! Anyway, spray a small amount on the bars and in the new rubbers, slide on a leave overnight, job done. Regards. Joe

Joe McIntyre, the hair spray was actually suggested on the instructions. I was worried that it will make the job of fitting them harder and messier though. As they are, without the hairspray, they where very difficult to install and do not budge once in. Mind, I did not use soapy water, so I guess that might have made things easier for me.

I have an NC750S and compared to my last bike the throttle has more resistance to it and I get discomfort on even short rides. Not sure if the hardness and smoothness of the stock grip is also adding to this. I am wondering if grip puppies will help or maybe crampbuster or even both. Your advise would be most welcome.

Hey TMF, obviously watched your 5 christmas gift ideas for the biker and i put a pair of grip puppies on my list 😉👍, anyway i was wondering what they're like in the wet, like if you get cought out by a rain shower, riding in prolonged rain or if it stsrts raining and your bike is stood outside, do they act like a sponge and become saturated, and have you ever noticed they've spun on your grips?? Cheers!!

I need these because my aging rubber grips have gone shiny and sticky. Some days my gloves slide around over them and I can't grip without holding tight, and other days they feel tacky and reaching for the brake and clutch is problematic. NOTE: DO NOT buy ones specific you your bike. They are all the same size if you read the description. They are selling some as BMW because they know people will pay an arm and a leg extra, thinking it is tailored to their bike. They only come in one size!
