JR is a lovely individual, you can't help but like him. Him and King on commentary is probably up there in pop culture with other things from that era for 80s/90s kids. Even people who don't watch wrestling know that commentary duo when they think 'wrestling' because of their look and dynamic and Jr's phrases along with Kings 'puppies'. I do understand things need to change, but splitting then up and having king go face killed the fun of the commentary

JR did well on SmackDown!, I actually dreamed of him being on SmackDown!.

This is one of the funniest & realist episodes 🤣 I heard.

I will single-handedly admit that when JR left Monday night raw, that really hurt the red brand. However I will give him credit where it is due, I think he did a phenomenal job on SmackDown. He made SmackDown tolerable and enjoyable to watch and it paved the way until SmackDown left MyNetworkTV

As upset as he was, I think SmackDown needed JR. It also needed Triple H and Jeff Hardy. Those three made SmackDown feel equal to RAW.

Man, so many of these have JR's audio popping constantly. Was the original source that way? If so, no post production to remove those artifacts? Drives me crazy in ear buds.

JR was super raw and honest here. VKM is a super complex individual for sure. I hope someone someday brings more light to his childhood and upbringing

Splitting up JR and King on commentary was a major mistake. Those two could sell almost any match, even the stinkers.

I’m pretty sure that JR is happy with AEW and it’s successful growth. Man he was blown away and he felt the chills and goosebumps when CM punk arrived at AEW. He knew at that moment we just beat WWE.

This was a great podcast. I think Vince wanted to make JR the stubborn old fool on that draft night. That is why he didnt tell him he was being drafted to Smackdown. That Divas Tag Team match was a blantant FU to JR. I mean come on. No way in hell in 2008 would the ladies be a bathroom break match. Not Mickie James and Melina vs Natalya Neidhart and Victoria. Vince has already wanted to do stuff for shits and giggles and that was a perfect example of it. That episode was pathetic. I think JR was right, the million dollar giveaway took away from the draft. As a wrestling fan, I look forward to the draft. When I turn on that night, I knew that was a nothing more than a desperation for ratings. I mean anything in the 3 million range for viewers should be a home run. Vince didnt risk his life. That was the dumbest shit ever! Him splitting up Jr and the King was the dumbest thing ever. JR and the King were great for 10 years. They sold everything. They even sold me on Stephanie McMahon Helmsley as the WWF Womens Champion. I even thought that was a slap to the womens division (another story for another day). This was a funny and an insightful look back at the draft.

I was always a JR fan but it chaps my Ass when JR talks big & cocky when he gets another Gig lol funny man. Mr Sports Entertainment yeah i'm old school i hate that word phrase i'''m a Wrestling Fan but i always got it & understood even as a kid that i's not all Wrestling it's SE. But Jim Ross never had a backbone in Wrestling & he really didn't in WWF or WWE as they made fun of him used him fired his Ass 3-4 times & his Ass got called & he came crawling on his knees every single time. He never questioned Vince Mcmahon & even came back to kiss his old rich sweaty Ass on National TV in Front of Millions at that time which was 10x what RAW draws now & you can put Raw, Smackdown, NXT, AEW & TNA whatever name they want to use & put all there ratings combined wouldn't do or touch the Ratings that WWE RAW was doing at that time in Jan 2008 on to Wrestlemania never mind the year before with Cena Vs HBK at Mania 23 which was the biggest Mania that broke all records numbers wise $ money PPV. Which as i said a million times HBK should of had a couple of WWE Title Runs when he came back besides that Chamber one for the Big Gold belt which that 3+ year feud with HHH which was unreal & never got old. But the Championship should of switched hands a couple times even if HBK didn't want it cuz he didn't want to do live event's & do the Champions schedule. I wish Vince mindset changed with the Champion after 2011 with Brock who was a part-timer & was never there 2-3 matches a year never on TV till the BIG 4 Season yet HBK was Full-time. If Shawn didn't retire still so young 43-44 later that year he would of starter doing the Edge, Brock schedule maybe 3 years ago. He should of went over Cena he was hot than & cuz your stupid brand split we use to Dream about it than after 4 years back is when they finally lock up only cuz other things didn't work out & that's HBK vs Kurt Angle WM 23 SMH. Dde those 4 Guys added would make the BloodLine NWO 2022 & the Shield members are Blood plus that Nia Jax & Naomi i said during this whole story of her getting screwed by Sonya having her turn after Roman stepping in getting her a Title Match & her changing her whole look gear to black/white or Red joins the Bloodline First Female. And he brings Nia as her bodyguard to take out Sonya during the match since she's not signed helps her Win the Women's Belt & both Join as Roman tells that other geek i can't think of his name is it Adam Pierce that The Tribal Chief says your hiring Nia or i made a Call I have a offer to join Raw. And that's when you would for great storyline purpose fire Sonya to comeback as a Full-time Wrestler & the Secret guy trying to hire Roman getting Sonya fired starting all that Drama was Eric Bish & make him GM of RAW or Smackdown now that's good Storyline & i'm not really breaking it down well just talking fast but that's just a lil bit way more info if i went into it & i have so many more stuff for others on both Shows. That's just from 30 years of watching & Rex Breaker would be the Man coming up to go at Roman but before all that would happen i had it as Killer Kross coming up doing the Goldberg Streak but bigger & better & had him beat Bobby at SummerSlam which i first had as Roman but you can't rush stuff than it's over. He had it all than you take Scarlet she was so hot she helped make his character his entrance was just as important as his matches & you take all that away WTF. I saw that guy as the Wrestlemania 38 if you wanted to rush it i wouldn't i would do Bobby & than do Kross at Wrestlemania 39 Vs Roman. If the Rock does come back than Roman Vs Kross Summerslam or Wrestlemania 40 or if you kept building Kross up undefeated this whole time having him lose to Jeff Hardy that's a joke be serious. Jeff can go party with Matt who can't walk or keep his feet straight walking like a duck never mind Wrestle the guy sucks.
