I retired from the Army about 15 years ago, and could not cook a lick, when my wife passed away I had to learn to cook for the sake of my daughter and myself. I found several sites with some great recipes, tips & tricks. Your site is one that my daughter and I use for inspiration all the time. We would love to win your cookbook. We will keep on watching regardless. Hoorah!! Keep on dancing Kent.

Kent and Mrs. Shannon, I can't tell you how happy I was to stumble upon one of your videos on You-tube. You make cooking fun and bring great variety to cast-iron and grill cooking. I like to eat, but am kind of picky about ensuring that what I eat is GOOD, and suited to my tastes. My tastes are VERY eclectic, having traveled the world on Uncle Sam, (and not just to the nice places). So I figured learning to cook was the best way to ensure I eat what I like. And the family loves it! As a guy, the grill, smoker, and cast iron make cooking interesting and gets me out in nature. It is great therapy after 20 years in the military and recently losing a job. But cooking this way is more of an art than a learned skill, and I know of no-one better than Kent at inspiring this art. I've fallen in love with your Red River Seasoning, and am confident your other products are amazing as well. I would love to be a winner of your cookbook and other items. God Bless you both for bringing joy and good food to so many.

While on a deployment I had some of my brothers(fellow Marines) introduce me to your youtube channel about a week ago. Ive done watched about half your videos. The only reason I want this give away is while watching your videos Kent and Shan, I cant help but feel like I'm back home. Enjoying my time with my wife and dogs and cooking away having a merry time. Thank you for your videos, I truly means this. I cannot describe how nice it is to have this nostalgia of home and your authenticity of goofing around vs trying to be "professional" helps a lot. Thank y'all so much. I will be buying your cook books regardless if I win this give away. I committed to that already so don't worry, I'll make sure to bring it home and share it however I need to get it gets done, thank you, all the way from here in Japan.

That cookbook alone is worth entry. I've cooked all my life but became permanently disabled at 49 years of age recently and It became dangerous for me to cook for a while until I could stand properly. Being physically disabled is one thing, but Dementia is a whole 'nuther animal. I have to write down everything for a checklist or open my cook books. If I didn't I'd be makin' omelettes with no eggs ! 🤣 Kent's cooking really lit a fire under me and I'll be grateful forever for that. My oldest son is getting stationed to a reserve base in Waco where we will live together. A smoker is first up...OK, TP is first up 😂 but the smoker is a done deal. I hope to recreate every one of your wonderful recipes for a bunch'a hungry Marines. God Bless, I'm so appreciative. 👍🇺🇸✝️

I was given a first edition copy of "FRYINGPANS WEST" by Sam Arnold, from his PBS cooking show 50 years ago. I would be Pleased As Punch to add a Kent and Shannon Rollins cookbook to my collection of well loved western cookbooks. (And yes, I have had rattle snake, thanks for asking, but I did NOT catch it myself) There might be others who are more deserving of this gift but No One would love it more !

I'm using my first ever KZread comment to enter your contest! I'd love to win because my family has been using this social distancing break to learn how to cook over fire and hot coals. We invested in our first Dutch oven and my husband and sons have been restoring some old rusted cast iron we've come across in various places. This channel has been a godsend for us, and the book would be the icing on the cake! Thank you, Mr. Rollins, for all that you do! You're a tremendous blessing to the YT community. P.S.- Your upside down pizza recipe is the bee's knees! Have you ever made cornbread pizza? It's a huge favorite in our house.

My 9-year-old son and I would absolutely love to win this giveaway! Him and I started taking cooking seriously a couple years ago as something we could do together. I was a very late starter in the culinary world, and it's a skill I'm so glad my son has been interested in at a young age. He even wants to own his own restaurant one day! We came across Cowboy Kent several months ago, and is now our go-to channel for recipes! The combination of true skills, good lessons, and good old fashioned entertainment in a very easy-to-understand way makes it something that's hard to beat, for sure. I also love the shout-outs to our Veterans and First Responders at the end of videos. Much respect!!! So, having a book full of great recipes, those ingredients, and those tools would be fantastic for us :) Keep up the great content, and such a fun idea to have a giveaway! Good luck, all!

The time-honored tradition of gathering for a meal seemed to have lost its sheen in recent years, with more and more families and children on the go in our digital world. However, one of the positive byproducts of our current "situation" is a resurrection of the family supper. And, while I've been watching you for some time now, I've really found a whole new level of appreciation for you and your bride in these tumultuous times. You're bringing a bit of what makes us all great, to the forefront once again. I love his little dances he does every time he makes something! Also, including the doggies in his videos is so darn cute and them dogs are certainly well-behaved. I also love that he always tips hat to all the people serving in the middle east and all over and also to our veterans. And the respect he shows to Old Glory is truly inspiring! Tara's, my wife, Grandma cooked all the time with cast iron and cooked the same way you do, with love. We are now cooking together and it has been like her Grandmother is back here with us. I believe the cookbook would help me and my wife grow closer together even more. Honestly, the reason Tara and I would like to win is because it would take us a long time to save to be able to purchase everything listed. Love the new quesadilla recipe. I already have the cookbook, but would like to suggest giving one to a deserving first responder or paramedic. These are trying times for those folks, and they could use a lift. I retired from a local police department, and our city paramedics were in the same building. They worked 24 hour shifts and had to cook their meals in a small kitchen or outside on a grill (between calls) and they often shared with their brothers in blue. God bless you all. So let me nominate the O'Fallon, Illinois Department of Public Safety EMS in O'Fallon, IL. I know they would put it to good use. Thanks.
