Grilled Pulled Pork Pizza | BBQ Pizza Recipe on Grilla Kong

This Grilled Pulled Pork Pizza recipe combines two of my favorite food groups… BBQ and Pizza.
To keep it simple I’m using a couple prepared pizza crusts that you can find at the grocery store.
What makes this recipe special is the white sauce I use as a foundation. It’s a variation of my Alabama White BBQ Sauce, and it goes great with pulled pork. Here’s the recipe for the sauce:
White BBQ Pizza Sauce (makes enough for 4-5 pizzas)
- 2 cups Mayo
- ¼ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- ½ Tablespoon Black Pepper
- ½ Tablespoon Granulated Garlci
- ½ Tablespoon Table Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
I’m firing up my Kong Ceramic grill for this cook but you can use any grill set up for indirect cooking. Just run the temp up to 400⁰ and hold it steady.
To assemble the pizzas, spoon ½ cup of White Sauce onto each crust and spread it out. Add a little finely diced white onion, plenty of shredded cheese (I like a blend of mozzarella, jack, and cheddar), and the pulled pork. Top the pork with additional cheese and a final drizzle of the white sauce.
You want to cook the pizzas one at a time on the grill. Transfer each one to the grill grate using a pizza peel or cutting board. On my Kong I use the heat diverter to even out the heat but you could also use a pizza stone. Cook each pizza for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust browns. You’ll want to keep a close eye on it to avoid burning.
Remove the pizza from the grill once the bottom is brown and drizzle with your favorite Hot Sauce. Cut each one into desired slices and serve.
This recipe is super easy and it’s a great way to get the whole family involved. Give it a try the next time you have some left over pulled pork.

At first I thought a homemade dough would have been better, but I appreciate the quick dinner ideas, especially from left over pulled pork. Side note, this guy is a natural on camera. I think he is Food Network worthy of his own BBQ/pitmaster show. That's just me.

I've seen at least 3 dozen requests by others for this, and I totally agree. We would love a video tour of all your grills, smokers, and other ovens in your collection!

Yes, that would be great. Malcolm, educate everyone on this subject. Please. Thanks.
I really like how Malcolm offers alternatives if you don’t have something, like a plastic cutting board if you don’t have a pizza peel. He does this all the time!
I just made this pizza for my father in law for fathers day and everybody was completely floored. Everybody was saying it was the best pizza they ever ate. I will give everybody a heads up... if you're using a charcoal grill like a knock off Green Egg or an actual Green Egg you got to get that temperature up to it least 400 degrees you can't sit there and try to get away with 300 degrees it ain't going to cut it. I think the temperature at 4:25 is perfect. It gets the edges nice and crispy. I absolutely love this recipe brother. That white sauce is completely off the chain!

Alright first off it's not easy to make me actually laugh out loud, but with this comment you did it!
I just made two of these tonight, easy and very good. I haven’t had much success until tonight. Thanks for the video.
I just made one of these last night. I usually just get a store bought plain cheese pizza and then add habanero hot sauce, pulled pork, shredded cheddar and BBQ sauce.
Yeah Buddy!!!!!! Pizza and BBQ, my two favorite things!

That first bite! 🤤😋
Malcom you are THE MAN! That white pepper cream sauce is the BOMB! Made it for the chicken qtrs recipe and all my BBQ friends go crazy over it. Now, you're using it on pizza? OMG!!! I can't wait to try this mess! Keep em' comin' brother!
You literally are my favorite to watch. I get SO many great ideas on what to do on my Traeger and I love how you go over what to do and then again before the end of the video. SO HELPFUL!
That would be really good with pineapple and bbq sauce drizzle!! Emm emm!
Great! Now I'm hungry... looks very good man, keep it grillin
These are the best videos on KZread.
Niiiiice! I like my onions or green peppers on top as that will leave them caramelized and much tastier.
I did this over the weekend with leftover smoked chicken. Added bacon and purple onions and mushrooms. Two pizzas went FAST!
Best channel on youtube hands down
I'm making some pulled pork this weekend. This is a great ideas for leftovers!
Made this pizza this past weekend. I was skeptical of the white sauce and if I would like it. I am not going to even try and lie, this was one of the best pizza's I have ever had. I had leftover sauce and have used that on making a BLT sandwich with my own home smoked bacon. Making another pizza for lunch tomorrow. The only thing I really hate is the fact that I now must go make more pulled pork right away.
Another thing you can add is just a sprinkle of coarse-grain Nordic sugar to the crust. Awesome. Also, pulled chicken works great on this type of pizza w/white sauce.
Looks good. My only add would be some wood chunks on the coals for more smoky taste.
This Guy is absolutely AWESOME!!!!!
I love your videos so much. Thank you for sharing your recipes with everyone. You are making me a better BBQ man for my friends and family. I tell them about your channel as well.
ironically enough, i have been smoking a butt for 4 hours to make tacos for dinner, but NOW, i duno.... LOLOL - may be a pizza night tonight and i will try it with the apple as someone suggested, or even some pineapple! Yummy!!!
One of the house favorites for us. I add some jalapenos to it for kick and looks, but otherwise I use this same recipe. Tortillas are also a really good alternative if you don't have dough ready to go. I use two tortillas, putting some sauce and cheese between them.
Malcolm I love the food you grill and I love trying your recipes. But I know a little something about pizza. Use to be my business! Gourmet and always, always fresh dough and ingredients. You make me miss that business. God bless!
Just getting into grilling/smoking. Great help and direction Thank you so much. I have a lot to learn here in the NW
God bless this man
Gonna have to try that white sauce, looks awesome! Another great video man!
hi Malcolm what's up? looks yummy. I hope you have a great day

I did this pizza for my friends yesterday and they loved it so did I, great recipe
You are awesome- from Canada!
looks delicious!
I would do this only if I already had the grill ready, not to start for only 8 minutes for new Coals. But the Clip is saved, I'd like to try it.
Looking really good buddy...Yes sir..
I sooo wanna do this recipie for my mom... looks amazing... I might find some crawfish tail meat to this recipie

Thank you doing this pizza! I've been looking for a good grilled pizza recipe
cool that hasn't even cross my mind. But did make some BBQ pork nachos with leftovers 👍👍
this was a good idea for a video . you've bbqd everything under the sun, maybe make dishes with bbq incorporated In the recipe?
Just wondering if this pizza sauce is close to your Alabama White Sauce. Love your videos and recipes. Made a bunch and they are all great. Thanks
This looks soooo good Omg!!
I know from your videos that you have quite an arsenal of pits. I'm sure they all have their strengths and weaknesses. But what one is your favorite to use currently and why?
How does the Kong grill compare to big green egg or vice versa. Which one do you like better?
Melcom Reed for President 2020!
Nice video man!
Drooling
White BBQ sauce is the same ingredients for ranch dressing.
Red sauce always wins!
Are you able to keep the Kong down between 225/250 for smoking like a big green egg? And does the kick ash basket make it burn hotter with the extra air flow? Thanks.
Malcolm, can you describe what white BBQ sauce tastes like? I've never had it. I see it more now that I live in North Florida, but I never saw it in Oklahoma.
This video came just in time, I just did a shoulder last weekend and got some pulled pork in the freezer but I didn't pull what I froze
