    amphibious vehicles often have slow speeds, around 6 km/h! beyond, there are many faster machines but the price is not the same, we see amphibious tracked machines, but these tracked machines have very low capacities on rocks (dried river beds) their tracks would be quickly damaged ! to cross the rivers, there are machines on wheels which deploy floats, by putting several of these machines, you can even make bridges! pure a lake, it goes faster to go around the lake than to cross it! • @jimbaneham5999

    @jimbaneham5999

    DarkMatter61 the armoured doors are very heavy. The vehicle is designed to go over rough terrain and the doors may have to be opened when the vehicle is at an angle. Without electric power opening it would be very difficult to open the doors.

    @@adrienjeunesse973 c'mon who are you fooling? With some exceptions like Volkswagen, Skoda or Seat all the French cars are generally amongst the worst rated brands concerning failure/breakdowns on roads (Belgium, Netherlands). All the Asian brands scores the best, followed by mostly German cars. The fact that Mercedes uses Renault engines with e.g Class B (ok, wich is the "best" French car) is simply a matter of economical choice. And btw, all brands can be exported for third world countries but, once again, the Asian brands are the most wanted and reliable for those countries as well, never a Citroën. Just stick with the baguettes and croissants.. wich are also better in Belgium as well actually.
