Sure hope it wasnt just fuel for the Stig at the end there. It would be a real bummer to lost not just a 1st place but ANY place and have a DNF simply bc the race coordinators let them run so many laps past the slated end. Nature of the beast in this series, all part of the strategy to run minimal fuel or over fuel a tad. But man that'd be a hard way to take a loss. Mechanical failure would almost be easier to swallow.

Nah, The RUSH Stig is our factory test and development driver, he will pull in before the end of each final every time as we don't race our customers in the championship but he gathers data from the race sessions so he can have good data to help coach other drivers with. As a driver of course he would love to race for the podium but its the right thing to do for the series. Most everyone in our community knows its Blair but it helps people understand he is the factory driver by calling him the Rush Stig.

@@RushAutoWorks Ahhh ok makes sense. Funnily that's what I originally thought when I first saw the name, but the way the race announcers were talking when he pulled off it made me think I was wrong. Good to know. He's certainly a talented driver.
