Gridiron 36" | Step by Step Flat Top Griddle Assembly

This is the brand new Gridiron 36" offered by Camp Chef. It is there newest flat top griddle replacing the previous model that I did have, called Camp Chef Griddle 600. This newest griddle is my favorite so far in my short Flat Top Grill career which does expand 20 years.
In this video you will see from beginning to end how I set it up and follow all of the exact instruction even though I messed up on a few places and had to redo because I didn't read instructions correctly.

@14:25 I wish the bolts would go from the inside out where the excess bolt would be to the outside of the griddle. When seasoning those corners my rag/paper towel gets caught on the bolts. I tried switching them, but there is a shoulder on the bolt that makes it go only one way. Not really a big deal. Other than that, my assembly was perfect. It is a very sturdy unit.

@@eltoronegro yea that’s on major design flaw for sure. However if your griddle is under a patio - covered deck or kept in the garage you don’t even need the lid.
It was fun to watch you with the assembley of the hood , I had the same issue but with a lot of F-bombs, would have been a lot easier with 2 people

Dude - u get it!! Getting those brackets inverted and needed two ppl at time would have been way easier. When did u get yours?

@@cheftimclowers about a week ago .I changed the wheels out first off the stock ones seemed a little flimsy. I also made a grease trap filter so I stop losing food in the hole
