So entertaining, variety of events and vehicles and city urban tracks never get boring, love it 8/10

The game is gorgeous, easy to control, and has enough cars and content. The big issue for me is lack of a livery editor and the handling is too grippy. I literally couldn't spin out or lose it on a corner in the rain at 150mph! It makes it too easy. Also the lack of qualifying before races stinks. That set it apart and made the 24 car races easier to manage. Both issues could easily be patched but I think it's left for dead once the last dlc drops.

Not at all, EA/Codemasters are releasing a VR version of GRID Legends today so it's clearly not dead.

While you can't completely customize the liveries, there are a lot of livery options like in dirt 5

You aren’t pushing enough if you aren’t swinging the tail out (which by the way feels closest to real as I’ve ever felt)

The worst part of grid is probably the ai,they are constantly following the race line so hard that you get pit if you try to go near them, they take turns way to slow. I have the ai on legend and I'm going 100 thru a turn no problem but the ai slows to like 35 40 to make it. Also it kinda sucks how they can bump you and you spin out but you can slam into them at 150 and they don't budge

It’s cool to get an arcade racer now and then. They r fun. Sim racing games get more serious so it’s cool to jump on a game that is just plain fun. Enjoy the story mode. It was fun. It looks so great too. Deluxe being on sale I had to grab it and I’m glad I got it.

Did you use wheel? If so, what 1 and does it control well?

What system did you play this on and if on ps5 how were the adaptive triggers implemented? Thanks for any info

how is the multiplayer? Is it still active?

Im just happy they added mount panorama back. That's one of my favorite tracks! I love being able to top out on a straight. If I can't reach the top speed or close to it on a track I don't like it. Lol but still give me some twist and turns too I still like a challenge and to see how the car handles. Mount panorama does this, road Atlanta which I wish they'd add. But who am I lol. But obviously lemans, you get the idea. I love a long straight.

Is the deluxe upgrade worth it? And does wheel specifically Logitech g29 work well?

The game controls well enough with the Logitech G29, but the force feedback effect is pretty mediocre. Just like GT7 in that respect. ;-)

Honestly the story is the only downside I have, Im winning every race yet yume is some how better then me even though she's finishing damn near at the back of pack

have you turned up the difficulty? I tried turning off assists and making the AI harder (and actually trying to race clean) it's nearly impossible to win every race :)

@@sephuris5555 true, I would honestly prefer a scripted AI who rubberbands/just launches to 1st place with a pace that's humanely uncatchable (for Nathan McKane atleast)

​@@baget4679 I was trying to win everything until I came across the mustang multi class race... I don't think it's possible to win that on legend difficulty so after that I gave up trying to get everything gold on legend

The only 3 racing games I play are dirt 5, f1 2022 and grid legends, call me a code masters fanboy if you want, because I am, I'm just not into series like asseto corsa, gran turismo, need for speed or project cars, was playing project cars 3 for a couple years but was just waiting for a better track racing game thats not just 1 discipline, I like the more diverse racing games with multiple disciplines, while I loved gt3 racing when it first came out, it's just become so oversaturated and boring, I didn't actually realize how slow gt3 cars were until I started racing f1, indycar and prototypes, while I think gt3s are good to fill out sportscar fields like IMSA, I never pay any attention to the class anymore, that's why I think WEC and IMSA should merge their hypercar classes and do a hypercar world championship

He'll yes, I got the deluxe edition on sale for $40 in February 2023 on ps5 and I'm loving it

​@@Leotheleprachaunit being free on ps plus doesn't really mean anything to me, I don't always have an active ps plus membership so it doesn't really effect me, I'd rather own my games anyways, and no ps plus games are technically "free", you need an active ps plus membership to play those games, so if you have to pay a subscription the games are technically not free

If you like arcade racing games it’s definitely a great price! Just buy it I bought it on release full price and I still jump on once in a while for a few races It’s just an easy game to jump in even after months A lot of variety too in cars and races so yeah fun game if you want a game that’s just fun to play and not sweaty competition and lol the time!

I'm not a fan of they physics. With a wheel, the cars don't feel connected to the road surface, like they're floating. I finished the story within a week, and I'm pretty much done. It's a shame because I've always liked the Grid series. I don't think it's gotten worse than the first GRID (which I loved at the time), just that there haven't been enough improvements to actual gameplay. All the improvements seem to have been focused on graphics. GRID Autosport is still my favorite game in the series.

Great game, enjoy a LOT more than Forza Motorsport....

I find Grid Legend the most interesting. It's easy to operate and the car doesn't slide easily.
