www.ISRTV.com presents another race in the Endurance category in GRID Autosport by Codemasters on the PC. This is a demo / beta of the game.
This is an 8 Minute Endurance race at Autodromo Do Algarve in an Aston Martin N24 V12 ZAGATO with William Marsh behind the wheel.
AI difficulty set to "Hard".
This is not the final version of the game and some things may still change or are work in progress. It does give you a good idea of where they are going with this version of GRID.

Could somebody please explain to me what is that White "V" shaped icon that appears on the screen mainly during turns? I've seen it in other racing games and it's never been explained in any video I've watched.Thanks!!!

Another GRID2 pos, only thing they added is half assed cockpit view that lower res than the ones in Toca Race Driver. I don't uinderstand why put it in if you're not prepared to put some effort in to make it look properly. I don't know what happened with Codemasters studios, but they seem to be going the way EA is going with their, now pos NFS series.
8 minutes of a race is an endurance? Since when is 8 minutes of racing an endurance?
AI looks pants.
No look to apex? Also, why stuck at the 15 AI? Most computers and even the new consoles can handle two, three or even 4 times that amount. Well it's not a triple A new gen game. So the price should reflect that fact.

Maybe because it's not 360, PS3 and PC, and not coming out for next-gen?

It's beta/preview release so not the finished product. Price does reflect it, you can get it for £25~ from GMG. I'm more worried about 8 minutes being endurance :|

Reapercore From what I've seen, the race lengths are somewhat scaleable. Up to 45 minutes. Not perfect. But definitely better than 8 min. Thanks for the price tip. I'll have a look. The upcoming real race Sim is pCars. Nov. It has it all!

Howie47 I'm a backer of pCars, sadly they've gone simcade for the handling, the game is huge. Honestly though, for upcoming racing games I'd go with Asseto Corsa due to the mod support, they haven't even released mod tools yet but there are still some very good tracks available.

Reapercore I don't think most will agree with you on pCars handling. I like it better than AC already. I think it is more refined, and more hardware dependent than any Sim so far. But when all the reviews are in, and all the Sim, and real race drivers have tested it. Even if it gets raving reviews. There will still be some who insist some other Sim is better.
