That's how good the first GRID game was, it got an arcade version.
GRID is a 2008 racing game by Codemasters for the Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. It was ported to the Sega Europa-R arcade board in 2010 by Codemasters and Sega Amusements Europe. This port was the second game to run on Sega's Europa-R arcade board, following 2008's Sega Rally 3 (which the board was designed for); this fact was only discovered sometime in 2011 (System-16 added it to their Europa-R list on 20 March 2011).

Very excellent game footage. At the end you know that ai didn't have to slow down during the hairpins. You totally smoked 'em
It’s worth pointing out that some of the cars present in the Arcade version of GRID are present on consoles and Mac through the Prestige and 8-Ball pack DLCs, but not on PC (but can be added through modding the install files).
the difference of grid on the arcade and pc/console is like this: the flashback featured is completely absent, the only to flashback is going to the reset button, which you back on the track instead back on you left on. less cars and tracks. no camera view option no Multiplayer no career mode, etc.

No, it's the version before autosport. And it's the best racing game ever! (imo) Wish they would bring it back with online servers...

Console doesn't have a countdown timer on the top left corner of the screen. Console also has a rewind feature called flashback to reverse bad crashes or spins. Also more game modes and cars. Also the car opponents on track is 16 instead of 6.

Also, it appears the damage model is reduced to cosmetic damage only. In the console game bumping or crashing the car into the environment or opponents would damage specific parts of the vehicle which would affect its handling and performance. A really bad crash would end your race. That doesn't appear to be the case here. There are no HUD elements or speech that tells you that bumps or crashes does anything to negatively affect the car's performance. As others have commented, there is also no flashback, fewer cars, and fewer tracks.
This game better than xbox 360, reminds me World Driver Championship.

@@tHeWasTeDYouTh Its called Sega Rally Revo on the Xbox 360 but i can only find it for NTSC consoles. I use a PAL console :(

@@markweatherall7437 Revo is a totally different game. Sega Rally Online Arcade is the console version of Sega Rally 3, but i don't think you can purchase it anymore.

@@InsertCoinArcadeOk thanks for your reply. Yes thats why I would like it to make comparisons. I have the arcade online version on the PS3 but I want a version to play on my PAL 360 console. Revo disc copies are on Ebay from USA and Canada etc but not sure if it will be compatible on my PAL console?
